I used Hotwire.com to book my reservations and did not know what hotel I was getting until after I booked it. After I saw it was the Chicago O'Hare Garden Hotel, I read ALL the reviews for this hotel. If I had read the reviews before being charged, I would not have chosen it. Since I found out it was... The reviews speak for themselves. The hotel smelled, there were stains, dirt, and trash everywhere. After complaining we received one of our two nights for free. Still not worth it. If it was between staying at this hotel again and sleeping in my car, I'd choose the car.

We stayed at that hotel for 4 nights and on the 3rd day two our laptops disappeared from the hotel room. We left the hotel in the morning and when we came back at night we found everything except our computers in the room. The staff was not helpful at all and was obviously marking time. The receptionist told us... More

Beds were old and mattresses were long past their best. While sheets were clean, they were old and the blankets had multiple holes and cigarette burns. Our door frame was repaired after obviously being kicked in at some point, but appeared glued back together. Did not appear fit for purpose. Asked for an alternative room which was WORSE. Checked out... More

Poor lighting in rooms. No water pressure in showers. Remote control to tv has no power button. Although the bed is comfortable it lacks many other things. The hallways are very hot. No ac. Do i need to carry on with more negativity. Just do yourself a favor and never stay here.

We booked it because it was cheap, close to the airport & had free 24hr airport shuttle. Shuttle was a joke....an old beater purple Ford Windstar, (decided to drive ourselves instead.) A/C didn't work, pool & restaurant were closed, dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. Extremely run down. Beds sunk in the middle bad & were very uncomfortable. I can't... More

Spend the extra money and stay at the Marriot or stay further away and cab it. I wasn't going to leave a review considering all I wanted was a place to put my head down, but this was too horrible. First, they shouldn't advertise that they have a shuttle; when I arrived I was told that the shuttle only comes... More

These pictures on this website must be from years ago!!!! The lobby had no air, in fact there were box fans all over and the hallways were over 100 degrees. Our room was so nasty that we actually laid out towels on top of the bed and slept on top of them. The shower was BLACK on the floor!! The... More

The area is not good at all. If I was driving I would have kept the doors locked. It was 90 degrees and they had no air con running, they had all of the doors propped open, anyone could just walk in. My room number was reflective stickers for the side of a house. The door looked to have been... More
