We stayed for a night at the Old Station Inn as it just looked a bit different from the norm and was very reasonably priced. The bar contains an eclectic mix of all things collectable including the front of an old Citroen 2cv attached to one wall. A very interesting place to enjoy their good selection of ales. We dined...

A really good experience in the restaurant carriage with good food and atmosphere. The bar in full of quirky memorabilia ... don't be put off by first impressions of that area which although has lots to see does seem and smell quite tired.

This was our 3rd stay at the Old Station Inn, which was excellent. The rooms have been refurbished since our last stay, beds were comfy, room was warm. Food in the carriage was excellent, portions massive as usual, had to bring some home. Debbie and Neville are excellent hosts. Have recommended to several people who have already booked to stay.

We last came here in October. It was so good, we came back. The food is amazing (homemade steak and kidney pie - best ever!!) and plenty of it. The service is amazing also. Very friendly, very welcoming. The atmosphere just completes the experience. Huge free car park too!! We'll be back, for sure!!!

Got a cheap night here through a Groupon deal and decided to book an additional night and make a weekend of it and so glad we did. The accomodation is in an outhouse no more than a few steps away from the pub and for the price charged is excellent value for money. The room was clean, looked like it...

Would like to rate 41/2. Plenty of parking, great bar in which you can eat amongst the memorabilia, food excellent. Restaurant, a refurbished GWR restaurant car, outstanding. Staff so friendly. Stayed in room across the entrance to the car park good, with good sized bathroom/wc. Room needs ventilation, as a little mouldy in window area. Inn does not do breakfast,...
