Like some of the other reviewers, I really don't want to post this review otherwise everyone will want to go, and so they should. The house is beautiful and the welcome really warm. We went for dinner and were lucky enough to also be able to stay the night. The room was lovely, bed supremely comfortable and so peaceful. The...

This place is a hidden gem,, tucked away on the lanes of sleepy Somerset. It's setting and surroundings are stunning. We went there with friends, not to stay just for an evenings get together. We were made to feel instantly welcomed, given nibbles with our drinks then shown to our own room to eat...the food really is mouth-wateringly good. I...

I didn't want to post of review of Langford Fivehead because I didn't want other people to find this hidden gem and spoil it. This is the shortest review I have ever made. This establishment is simply perfection the hotel itself, the rooms, the food, the service, and wonderful value. Go and try it yourselves?

We have been here several times now and it just gets better and better! Seriously delicious food, beautifully presented, exceptional service and stunning location. I don't usually photograph my food, but my ham hock terrine with piccalilli starter was so pretty I couldn't help myself. I love it!

We have a real dilemma with Langford Fivehead. Our natural inclination is to tell everyone just how wonderful it is as a place to stay and eat but selfishly we hope it won't get so popular that we find it difficult to make bookings. All the praise heaped on the Langord by other reviewers is totally justified. This was our...

Flew from Dublin to Bristol with a view to driving down to Cornwall. We decided to treat ourselves with a stay 'somewhere nice' to break our journey. We struck gold with the Langford Fivehead. Absolutely amazing food in a stunning 14th century building that has history oozing out of every pore. It's run by a husband and wife team -...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as a birthday present. The hotel is tucked away off a country lane and a challenge to find but is worth the journey. It is an old manor house dating from the 15th century with extensive, well cared for grounds and gardens. We received a warm welcome from the owner and...

Only went here for a birthday meal recently - and my goodness we will be back! The house and grounds are lovely, food delicious and all reasonably priced! I cannot wait to bring all my friends to dinner here when they visit. Highly recommend!

Wow. We went here for my mother's birthday. She lives fairly close and neither she nor her friends had heard of it. The word needs to get out! We had a delicious meal with some truly outstanding dishes. The tortelloni with goats cheese was exceptional and light. Fish main was great. The deserts were also fantastic. My mother had the...
