Wow - what a place, we feel we have found a hidden gem. Rebecca made us feel at home from the minute we stepped through the door helped by the beautiful comfortable manor house. Complete relaxation. The food is exquisite, in fact, the best we have ever eaten, the flavor combinations and quality of the produce is 1st class. We...

Found this establishment on a recommendation and now must tell others! Premises and location Elizabethan ish, rural, warm, friendly, unique. Service perfect. Ollie, the chef/owner food is creative fine dining with real taste. All courses we enjoyed were faultless. Exceeded our expectations. - writing this whilst at Gidleigh Park, en route to Waterside Inn! We didn't stay on this occasion...

We have been enjoying Langford since Olly and Rebecca arrived! Early dinners were a taste of things to come. Since then we have celebrated family birthdays, early Christmas party, a family wedding and New Year's Eve. We are fortunate to live within walking distance and so also take advantage of seasonal delights, such as The Pheasant Supper. We are so...

I was looking for a hideaway just for myself for 2 days total R&R. I was attracted by the combination of peace and quiet plus what looked to be really good food. Slight disappointment when I booked online that I could only get a room for the Friday night. Olly and Rebecca could not have been better hosts. A beautifully...

Just visited for lunch, and what a lovely experience it was. Great surroundings and wonderful food. Felt very relaxed with friendly, attentive staff and a fantastic 3 course lunch, with delicious extras...canapes before and chocolate truffles to end. We will be back!

Ourselves, together with friends had dinner here this week. The ambiance, superb service and food made this an experience not to be forgotten. We rang the bell, were greeted and welcomed by a very sweet girl at the door and shown into a cosy sitting room with a roaring log fire. Dinner was totally delicious, especially the cheese souffle......all the...

Just had a fantastic 3-course lunch - delicious canapés in front of the log fire, twice baked cheese soufflé with pickled pears and caramelised walnuts; roasted breast of pheasant and slow cooked leg, parsnip purée, Savoy cabbage and pomme dauphinois; apple tarte tatin with cream. The three courses were accompanied by matching wines. Coffee was served back in the drawing...

We stayed for one night in a magnificent room called Nathanial Barnard which was simply stunning with the most amazing ceiling which was great to admire from the roll top bath! The staff were very welcoming and have created a great relaxing atmosphere. Everything is done with ease and style and we instantly felt at home. The food was excellent...

Just one night at this beautiful place. Accommodation and food were out of this world and Rebecca, Ollie and Megan were wonderful hosts. We continued on our travels with a lovely full English breakfast that set us up for the day. Definitely one for a return visit
