We stopped here for 2 nights with our On the Go tour. A bit of a tough place to get too but was worth it. We went just as the Mozambique conflict was ending so all activities weren't running and bar wasn't stocked. Only a few beers, soft drinks and basic spirits. Any other time (when the conflict has stopped)...

Well done with simple rustic elegance. Superb value for the money and arguably one of the most beautiful and tranquil beaches in southern Moz. There was hardly a soul on the beach and great swimming. Staff were quite friendly. Unfortunately, communication with the resort beforehand was very challenging. We had difficulty contacting them to make a reservation, received no responses...

Bonito Bay is a perfect resort in the middle of nature but still close to the small villages. The beach is beautiful. In 1 minute you are at the beach where Clint and Russel are most willing to learn you how to drive a jetski! Or go diving! You can take a walk or just relax at the beautiful pool....

This place is unique! We stayed in a Casa Grande and we had a beautiful view at the beach. It's very peaceful and quiet. Perfect for some relaxation! Russell and Clint made our stay very enjoyable. I can recommend a stay at Bonito Bay to everyone!

We spent 4 days in the beautiful Bonito Bay resort, where we enjoyed the hospitality of Russell and all the workers there. The place is situated just a one-minute walk down to the beach and is actually overlooking the ocean! Big pool, great beers and amazing views. Jet-skiing is also amazing in the rough ocean and when you're lucky you...

Spent a fantastic week in this beautiful, remote place. I felt like I was in an Ernest Hemingway novel. The fishing was excellent, which translated to excellent meals with the fish we caught. A beautiful selection of fresh crawfish and prawns. The beers were cold! The accommodations were comfortable. All round a great experience.

We visited Bonito bay in Sept/Oct 2013 as part of our honeymoon. We were originally booked in for 5 nights but end up staying 7 and would have stayed longer if we had more time! Clint and Sarah (managers) are professional and very helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible. They have...

I stayed over one night during my travels in Mozambique and enjoyed it so much that I stayed a further 3 nights on my return. The staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The amenities are excellent, beach views are breath taking. Great scuba diving and fishing charters if the weather...

I stay at Bonito Bay just for one day and one night with my overlanding tour in September and loved every minute of the stay. We stayed in one of the large family villas, which was stunning and overlooking the bay. We were pretty last minute, but the staff were really friendly and accommodating, making us dinner and giving us...
