What a great pub. Great food & great atmosphere. We met up with family members for birthday meal. They had a small dog who was made very welcome. What a shame we missed the village Christmas fayre which was held the day after our visit....More

I was extremely lucky to be invited fishing at Wherwell last week. We had our lunch at the White Lion. A lovely lively pub in the village. Excellent pints of Doombar and very good ham, egg and chips.And a perfect welcome. Just what the doctor...More

Went to The White Lion in Wherwell the other night for dinner. A classic pub with a good atmosphere and friendly bar staff. Great selection of pies and beer as well as a full dinner menu. Defiantly worth a visit.
