Traditional tearoom adjacent to the hotel. High quality fixtures and fittings. Very good, freshly prepared food (including epic sausage rolls!), friendly and helpful staff. Surrounded by the best the Lake District has to offer. Highly recommended.

we only called in for tea after our group walk. I would think it would be music free as it is a lovely old worlde hotel. It used to have music in the bar long long ago where they would sing all the hunting songs but I have never heard of it happening now. My friend went on a sunday night for a meal where it is a old fashioned salad and all the staff are in old fashioned costume.
