We stayed in the self catering news for 3 nights with our 3 young children. Location of house was great, hotel was beautiful, breakfast was lovely & staff could not have been nicer - they were so helpful. The houses are in need of renovation. The beds were very uncomfortable & house was cold - the bathrooms in particular. Other...

These houses are in the grounds of the old house and golf course which is a beautiful setting. The houses need an upgrade but good service from the hotel and everything you need to self cater. Around 20 mins from the city centre

Stayed 3 nights here . The house was large but the beds were poor standard small uncomfortable doubles and the bathrooms had a strong damp smell. Need for a bit of renevation. The hotel itself is lovely.. Was left one towel each for the 3 night and the towels are very old and small

Stayed at this for a wedding. Firstly the good points - the kitchen and living room area are grand, and overall the house was very clean on arrival. However there were a number of issues. The en suite bedroom (think its house 20) had a really bad and obvious damp smell. there was one shower between 6 people, and unfortunately...

Houses were very comfortable and catered for all of our needs. very clean. there was 8 adults (4 couples) staying in two houses side by side. Having our own kitchen was ideal for cooking. Leisure centre was fab. The grounds were amazing. The lads really enjoyed the golf. Location was great. The only negative comment is that the hotel is...

Am getting ready to leave the self catering houses, for the third time this year. Have already booked for two visits next year! The main attraction for us is Ciara and Clodagh who were running the kids club. They even remembered our children's names from our last visit in July. Our kids love it and when we told them we...

The beautiful location is probably the best that can be said about the self catering houses. We, two couples, stayed in one of those. The master bedroom was ok, the other bedroom was long and narrow with beds along the wall, not side by side. It was hot and when opening the windows you get bitten insects in the evening...

My wife and I spent 2 nights here in July. The room was very small but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom again was small but the shower was good and modern. House keeping was very good. We had to wait for breakfast, but might I say the gentleman in charge of this really had no manner and could...

We stayed at the Faithlegg Self-catering after our wedding so that we could go away to somewhere nice at a reasonable price. We expected some of the quality of the hotel to carry through to the accommodation but it was quite disappointing. Compared to the hotel the quality of the self catering is very basic and this is not what...

We stayed in the 3 bed mews recently and they are nice houses, very clean. I would have liked a few more soft furnishings like cushions, which I've seen in other self-catering places. The curtains in the bedrooms are not very heavy so our little one was awake at 6am every morning, so bring your own blackout blinds if you...

“Use the back double doors to access the house as these are located where your car will be parked. Ask for specific directions at the reception as the map is not great. We stayed in number 29 and it was immaculate, I would request this if you are going for a two bed. There were other houses with garden furniture, if you are planning on a BBQ, request one of those.”
