Very well kept and clean Hoel. Enjoyable stay. In keeping with an old Manor House. Definitely would stay again. Good value for money, kind and caing staff. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast very good.

We stayed here for one night and were accommodated in what I believe was the old stable block. The room was quite small, but adequate, warm and clean with tea & coffee making facilities. The bathroom was a good size with toiletries and a good shower. We ate here in the evening and had good meals for the price. The...

A lovely Sunday lunch and nice surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food very nice. A nice place to visit at any time. Out of the way with no children or loud music to interrupt your conversation or meal.

People at reception were very helpful and welcoming. In fact in the evening they turned into bar staff and waiters and did a remarkable job of keeping smiling despite being rushed off their feet. The receptionist took me to my room and explained that he had been in the room earlier to switch on the electric heater. Yes, they had...

On mothering Sunday the venue resembled a works factory canteen. The quality of the beef was not very good, lots of gristle. To top it all, the 8 people in are party all had 2 courses but when the bill came it was for 3 courses. I'll bet not many people checked their bill.

A comfortable, privately-owned hotel in Theale, which is clearly very popular as a meetings venue. Everything you'd expect from a hotel of this class and price in a delightful old building (with a few low ceilings and doorways - only hit my head once as it hurt!). I had a large room with a four-poster bed, Good choice in the...

I'm was hoping for a restive sleep but spent the night shivering in the outbuildings.. The food was basic although the service was quick. The only bright point, in an otherwise disappointing stay, was the staff who were attentive....

Took some relatives to this restaurant for Sunday lunch and were certainly not disappointed. Although this was built in the 15th century it was absolutely charming. The menu was appetising and the food was well cooked and extremely well presented on the plates. Staff were helpful and attentive .Portions were very generous and all in all very good value for...

Easy to find, just follow the signs and keep going past Dunelm and IKEA, at the end of the road, turn left through the gate, loads of parking space! From the outside all looks very nice and it perhaps a place to stay in the summer months to take advantage of the outside space and seating area. Reception pleasant, welcoming...
