Spent a long weekend here camping with a few family's. Wakiti is out in the bush and a great place to get away from city life. The ground is vast with plenty of room for everyone. The amenities were great with no cues for the bathrooms even though the campground was full. Tennis court, archery, canoeing and a games room...

I recently stayed at Wakiti Creek Resort, after being recommended by a friend and was not disappointed at all. We were greeted on arrival and taken to our cabin, which was immaculate. We thought it was brand new but seems it was over two years old. We could not fault it in anyway. Totally spotless with all the mod cons...

Its a nice caravan park that is quite casual and laid back. Perfect for families with a small swimming pool (little chilly), small water park/play area, very basic games room - we have an 8 and 10 year old so this was ok and lots of other kids the weekend we went. There is a walking track which goes out...

What a beautiful place to stay, we loved it. Pulled in in our caravan on the 1st March, for a 10 night stay and really didn't want to leave, our days went so quickly. Everything there you could need, beautiful pool, BBQ areas, camp kitchen, playground, bush walks, etc, etc, etc. Our hosts, Julie, John and Darcy were wonderful, very...

Had a lovely stay at 'The Retreat' and loved the spa. The bush surrounds were just the best. Plenty of free activities for both kids and adults.Enjoyed my daily walk around the area. Will definitely be going back.

Filthy mattresses in room with two singles. Looked like someone had walked over them wearing muddy boots. Mattress protectors needed here. Asked for blanket to put over dirty mattress. Lovely young man Clancy very helpful. Reported door on second bedroom not closing on second day but was not fixed during four night stay. Cabins spacious but no hooks in bathroom...

We stayed in the teepees for 2 nights. The teepees are large and spacious and a different kind of camping experience. There's so much to do at the park - tennis, archery, basketball, canoeing. The kids loved the pool and even though they are teenagers, had a go at the splash park. The camp kitchen has sufficient facilities and all...

Wakiti served our needs well to a point. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids enjoyed the surroundings which are quiet and peaceful. The pool was really nice along with the water play area. Our main complaint and it is a major one is the cleanliness of the cabin we stayed in. It was truly grubby. THe couch needed...

Management response:

Loretta If you had a problem with anything with the cabin you should have approached one of my staff who would have rectified it for you. The cabin is professional cleaned after each stay. The bedding is all egyptian cotton and laundred after each use.
