We stayed here for 2 nights in the Illini cabin. This place is perfect. Very well maintained, quiet, and relaxing. The cabin was very clean and very well equipped and decorated. My 2 boys loved it. The homemade fire starters were impressive! I would love...More
We drive through a major storm to get to this destination and it was worth it! Everything was as promised and better. Property is very scenic, quiet, and provides just enough privacy. Our dog-friendly cabin was well-stocked, very clean and fulfilled all needs. BTW, the...More

We've only been the one time this summer, so we're still newbies and expect winter to be a different experience than summer. I recommend thoroughly reading the website and TripAdvisor comments from winter visitors. Management can answer any questions you might have. We're returning in November for my birthday and the only real tip I saw was regarding hunting season and some restrictions on the hiking trails. We didn't go to any local restaurants. Once you're in your cabin you won't want to leave. Fire pit, grill, wood burning stove...who needs a restaurant? :-)
