We availed the Masinloc Eco Tour and decided to stay at Armada Resort, based on blogs and reviews, theirs is better than Ruiz Resort. PROs - Water is clear (few starfish when we were there, but seen some fish) - Sandbar (don't expect too much though, if you have a drone then you will be able to get nice pics)...

the thing about this islabd is there are aloot of starfish. but the downside is there are lots of seaweeds as well. which makes the water looks dirty. -the sand here is nice compare to the ruiz resort ~they have sandbar its cool for taking nice pics ~water is fine but its not that clean ~if you've been to visayas...

White sand beach. Pristine clear water. Well maintained resort. Free one hour snorkeling. Convenient boat transfer. Accommodation of your choice. (Yes, you can choose a/c rooms, fan rooms, beach front villa, gazebo. No additional charge) You've read it all. However, the biggest surprise of all was the food served as part of the Ps 700 day tour / head. It...

Been here last year. (late review :p). Service is ok. Not that overwhelming. But the beach view is a bit fantastic. Clear beach with so much jellies so be very careful. Food serve is ok. Not that very fascinated. I hope comfort room will be renovated at least.

My husband and I went to Magalawa Island - Armada Resort for a daytour. It was part of a package (Magalawa-Potipot Tour) which we availed of from a travel agency. Good thing it was just a daytour in Magalawa Island - Armada Resort. My husband went for a swim, the water was clear and he found some starfish but there...

I've been here last summer and it was a great experience. The water is very clean and clear. and there are many starfish on its shoreline. Don't forget to bring your snorkeling goggles or flippers if you want to have the best experience. There's also a boat rental that will take you to coral areas of the island. Although one...

Stayed at one of their beachside fan cottages. They served decent food. For entertainment, they have a banana boat. They also offer snorkeling gear but if you want to do any serious snorkeling, bring your own gear. (The island has electricity and a potable water supply.) By the way, there are two resorts on Magalawa Island -- Armada and Ruiz....

You wouldn't experience what the island has to offer if it's only for a day trip. My son and I opted to a land travel for a getaway and landed in Magalawa island. We stayed there for 3 days, right at the beach front. No wifi, no TV however with AC and bathroom. Owners are accommodating. I was given a...
