Our one night stay at the Bundling Board B & B made for a nice getaway. We were warmly greeted even though we were over an hour late due to road construction. Because it was late and we wanted to get dinner, we were given a quick tour and shown our first floor room. From that point on, we basically...

This place was charming. My husband and I were looking for an over night getaway not too far from the city. We we met by the owner who is such a warm and intelligent woman. Not to mention being a great cook! I loved all the antiques in the home. There was so much to explore. The town square is...

Mireda and Russell were friendly innkeepers. They exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious!!! The B&B is close enough to the Woodstock historic square that you can walk and enjoy the shops that surround the square. Mireda was full of great historic information about the B&B and the Woodstock area.

This was just the place to stay for an overnight visit to Woodstock, Illinois. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, the room was pleasant and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Arriving on the Metra Northwest Line from Chicago, the Bundling Board is an easy 10-minute walk that takes you straight through the town square where you'll likely be spending...

My wife and I stayed at the Bundling Board Inn back in November for a quick weekend away from Chicago to de-stress and we could not have been more pleased with the results. Merida and Russell were the perfect hosts and their home is quiet, comfortable, and charming. I've stayed in B & B's that are cloying, overstuffed, and overdone,...

Merida, Russell and Inn mascot, Bruno, welcomed us with open arms and paws. Our room was very charming and cozy. Merida is quite the baker and provided us with cookies and refreshments throughout our stay. The breakfast was definitely the meal one typically doesn't take the time to make at home. Praline french toast and an egg souffle dish accompanied...

We stayed at the Inn for our anniversary this past weekend. This was our third or fourth stay at the Inn. The hosts, Merida and Russell were very welcoming as usual. Our room was spotless. I don't drive, so I can't go to Wisconsin or Michigan for a weekend getaway. Googling towns along the Metra lead me to Woodstock, IL, and the short distance from the Woodstock train station had me sold on Bundling Board. Our room was shabby chic as a B&B should be and our breakfast was a homemade delight. A short walk...

My husband surprised me with a birthday overnight at the Bundling Board Inn. The Inn is cozy, with many little delights and surprises around each corner. We stayed in the Mildred Deslippe Room; it has an attached private bathroom with shower with the washstand in the room itself. Please let the hosts turn down your bed linens for you as...

“A drawback is the noise of traffic on nearby streets and trains on nearby tracks; if you are a sensitive sleeper bring earplugs. Mildred's room is on the South St side of the house; it's possible that Clara's room might be quieter. The windows have pull-down blinds, so light is not an issue. Lamps and an overhead chandelier provide a variety of lighting levels inside the room. As with many antiques, the chairs are designed more for aesthetics than comfort.”
