I must say from the time we pulled up to the front door and Mr Keith greeted us, it was then that we knew that we made the right decision on spending our 20th Anniversary with the Le Meridien. Staff was excellent!.. While we were out, I had asked if they could surprise my wife with a beautiful bouquet of...

Keith is the best of the best! I'm glad they made such an impact. Creating memorable experiences is what it's all about, and I'm thrilled...

I found this hotel to be small but very nice. Our room was very nicely updated. Very modern. Bathroom was also very nice. Not much of a view but we were pretty much just there to sleep. Very nice lobby bar. Lots going on and very lively. This hotel is located walking distance to everything!

Great location near restaurants, the stadium, the convention center and other attractions. A more boutique experience then a bland Westin or Marriott. Great bar and restaurant. The rooms have been updated fairly recently. Try to get an upgrade to a corner suite.

Dear PW11803, We're so glad you had a great experience at Le Meridien, where as you mentioned is a European inspired, boutique hotel. Thanks for stopping by Spoke & Steele! I hope you get a chance to try the Porkstrami Sandwich, it's my favorite. Thanks for telling us about your experience. We hope to see you soon!

This is an old hotel that has been renovated well -- it has kept it's charm while modernizing beds, bathrooms, etc. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, good amenities. Free beer on check-in, valet parking available, and a very nice restaurant/bar on the ground floor. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel gave us a bottle of champagne. We also...

We stayed here for a night while passing through on our holiday travel. We are so disappointed we could not stay longer! The hotel is wonderful! Beautiful rooms, the ground are fabulous and the staff was amazing, especially with our two dogs (80 lbs and 55 lbs)!!!! Did we mention the dog friendly part? It was just icing on the...

I stayed here back in October and it was the only hotel left with a room due to the FFA conference taking over the city. The hotel was a gorgeous boutique hotel and while a bit small, the room was very nice and cozy. The shower was great... however due to the layout of the room, the smoke detector is...

Dear Jeremy C, Thank you for telling us about your stay! We're happy you had a chance to stay with us again. I apologize for the fire alarm, as they've been quite sensitive since we've changed out all the batteries. 45 minutes can definitely feel like a long time for an alarm to sound. We hope to see you again...

Le Meridien, fka The Canterbury Hotel. Wow, what a change! I'm not sure it was for the better but it is a very nice change. Back in the day, (circa 1986-1988) The Canterbury Hotel was da bomb. It was a small, quaint, English style hotel. The dark wood paneled walls in the restaurant and bar gave it a distinguished club...

Dear Johnny, Thanks for telling us about your experience. The Canterbury was definitely an iconic hotel for many years. Now as Le Meridien, we hope to sustain a boutique, service oriented and iconic hotel just as Canterbury. Le Meridien also has paid homage to Indianapolis roots throughout the hotel with our Steve McQueen room, a great centrally focused steel piece...

This hotel is very modern and updated. We reserved standard room and it was as advertised. Room was small, but well laid out. Staff was friendly and ready to help. Only negatives were that we heard everything happening in hallway much more than in most hotels. Doors are very loud in hallway and it sounded as if our own door...

Thank you for telling us about your stay and sharing that our staff was friendly and helpful. As for the water temperature, thank you for letting us know. I've rarely encountered a hotel staff as eager to please and friendly as the one at the Indianapolis Le Meridien. No matter what we needed, the answer from employees was "yes", "right away" and "happy to". Most people in town remember the location as the old Canterbury Hotel but there are no similarities except for the beautiful, historic exterior. The...

Our whole family stayed here Thanksgiving because we went to the Colts game! Very comfortable and quaint. Love the large bathrooms! Easy walking distance to Lucas Oil and all of Downdown! Did have a problem with noisy neighbors through the night. Front desk tried to quiet them but didn't last. Ate breakfast downstairs in the morning and it was great!...
