This is what a hostel should be. Great location and access to bike paths that can take you anywhere in the city. Immediate area has great bars/restaurants/venues. Clean, welcoming, and reliable. Thanks to Paul and crew for making our stay amazing.

We had a great stay. The hostel was super clean and staff was very friendly. They always had recommendations on what was going on that day. We were in the monument room, which is the only room with a private bath. I would stay here again!

Indy Hostel is like many hostels throughout the world, inexpensive housing, common areas, and often close to metropolitan areas. But they take it a step further. They are very community oriented, planning festivals and neighborhood clean ups, as well as a popular story telling series. There are the usual group rooms, but private and family-sized rooms are available as well....

I came from St. Lucia to visit a friend and spend some time away from family drama. It was great! The staff is very friendly and does their best to help out however way they can. No matter what kind of views or culture you come from they were fairly respectful and not judgmental. The rooms are ok but the...

What i can say about the Indy hostel is that everyone there was so welcoming and friendly, I felt like I could really just relax while enjoying my stay. I was looking for a place to accommodate my sister and her husband who are coming to Indy in May. I read very good reviews about Indy Hostel and I decided to visit the place. Everything looked good and I decided to make a reservation. I paid the 20% deposit to confirm and hold my reservation. After 2 days I...

We certainly wish that this would have worked out better and we felt that with our offer of a much nicer accommodation, a higher value with breakfast included, was a fair consolation. An ample amount of time has been given to adjust and we hope that Giorgio and his sister have a great time in Indianapolis. It is very rare...

I decided to take my girlfriend up to Indianapolis for Valentine's day weekend 2015 and I must say we had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly, they assisted me in buying a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of flowers for the special lady. She was so surprised! We had the monument room and found the accommodations to...

The people were friendly, the location was accessible, the place was clean and the rate was very reasonable. The only gripe would be the lack of heating. I stayed at the basement where there were 2 radiators for 2 rooms, which don't really work until you burn your feet on them. Maybe it's just unlucky that I stayed there in...

This has been one of my favorite stays. It was in a perfect location, easy to access if using public transportation also. The staff was so friendly and exceptionally helpful, they gave tips about everything local and gave me a feeling of comfort and warmth in a place I wasn't familiar with. The hostel was clean, organized, and homey, with...
