The building, beautiful. The architecture, exceptional. The history, world class. The staff, mostly outstanding. The rooms, meh. Housekeeping, disappointing. Systems/internal infrastructure, lacking.

This is a private club that makes rooms and facilities available to non-members on a selective basis. You should expect for formal surroundings and expectations of proper dress and deportment. Definitely for a more mature traveler.
