We had two queen non smoking room.No refrigerator or safe. The room was located

We reserved our room on Orbitz. Great price. Great hotel. Great room.
But what is with the bedding in hotels? The sheets were so short they wouldn't cover me. I had to choose whether to cover my feet or my shoulders. The sheets wouldn't cover...More

We got a great deal on Hotwire or wouldn't have went. This was our first time at the hotel. For a casino hotel this was by far the worse customer service I've witnessed. We arrived around 8pm on Sunday night. First we had to fight...More
My room was $300+ it smelled and there was a cocker roach in the room. The casino charged you $4.50 for a beer, even though you were gambling. The epic buffet was terrible. Save your money and go to Vegas..

The horseshoe that I've been to is in Cinci and doesn't have a hotel. I've been to grand Victoria in rising sun and it was a joke, will never go back. I don't remember ever having a bad time at the Hollywood Lawrenceburg and that goes all the way back to the days of waiting in line for 2 hours for the Argosy boat to return to dock. Since they built the Hollywood Casino and Hotel it has always been first class. I think they have suffered since ohio opened casinos and laid off people, closed tables, etc. No breakfast buffet with omelet chef early in the week anymore but still packed on weekends. If I can't make it to Vegas then I would pick Hollywood Lawrenceburg. (Or maybe IP in Biloxi, but that's a flight, not a 2 hour drive)
