This is a gorgeous 1899 home with loads of antiques, murals, stained glass windows and chandeliers. The décor of the house is outstanding. The beds were so comfortable and the Amelia room we stayed in was spacious. The breakfasts were good and the homemade cookies were a bonus every evening. We also liked that there was a small refrigerator in...

The home is gorgeous. Owner is a very gracious host. Food was good, especially the home baked cookies before bed time. We are restoring our own Victorian and we enjoyed seeing the home and it's furnishings. While the home is period, the amenities are quite modern; private bath, internet, cable, dvd player/movie selection. We will keep it on our list...

We just returned from a lovely stay. We stayed in the Abraham Room, which was warm and cozy. The queen bed was very comfortable. What we loved about this home is the attention to detail, and all of the tasteful antique furniture and decorations that really added to the inviting yesteryear feel of this home. Amanda was a gracious hostess...

I am very sorry to hear you were disappointed with your breakfast. I do not typically serve that type of breakfast but I was trying to accommodate your wife since she was a vegetarian and also wanted nothing too sweet. The usual breakfasts I make either have meat in them or are sweet, and your wife said she likes eggs,...

What a lovely place to get away. Amanda is a relaxed and gracious hostess. Her family is charming and breakfast is yummy. So are the late afternoon cookies delivered to the room! The house retains its historic character and charm. The rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable.

I would highly recommend this B&B! The mansion itself is a work of art. Even without furniture; the walls, ceilings, and floors are ornately decorated with elaborate detail. The innkeeper, Amanda was very welcoming. And her cookies were an added bonus...delicious! I really liked the fact that it had two rooms with extra beds if you're traveling with children. Most...

We sure enjoyed our stay in this fantastic home! We were made to feel right at home even though Amanda had just had a baby! Wow what a woman, handling all this and a sweet family! I commend her for an excellent job of keeping the home emaculate and in good repair. What a job well done!

We are biking across the country and had a stop in Ligonier! Amanda and little Caroline and William know how to run a B & B. We had a very delightful visit and an amazing breakfast. We were going to bypass this town because of lodging but found a real gem in this Manor!

We stayed at Solomon Mier Manor for 3 nights with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 granddaughters, ages 8 and 10. The girls were thrilled with the character of this beautiful 1899 home and so pleased that they were welcome. They very much enjoy the Laura Ingalls Wilder series and felt like they were visiting Nellie's house! The rooms are spacious,...

Beautifully maintained 1899 Victorian home. Amanda is the best innkeeper EVER! Very energetic and always pleasant, she made gourmet breakfasts and brings warm cookies to you in the evening! The bedrooms are spacious with super comfy beds. Close to many Amish communities. Will definitely stay here again.
