I was in town looking for a no-frills place that wouldn't break my budget, since I was only there for a week to 10 days on business. The Super 8 was great. Simple, and great. I had a delicious waffle breakfast every morning of the...More
Location was nice since it was by the interstate. I enjoyed the breakfast with the variety of cereal, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, and waffles. Most importantly the rooms looked amazing. Nicely remodeled rooms and would come back again.
Upon checking out I realized that the manager/owner was proping all of the hotel room doors open("to clean them"). A woman's purse was sitting just inside one of the rooms, and I was able to be unobserved taking the included photo. Do not stay here,...More
Visiting the area I needed a place to stay overnight. Always use TripAdvisor reviews to book my room. This hotel was in a nice area. Easy to locate. Several eating and shopping places near by. Staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable....More
This is a standard Super 8. A bit dated and could use some maintenance, but there are numerous restaurants nearby. It is also not too far from the beach, which is a great place to go. Since we are from the east coast, it was...More

Sorry just giving my impression as the consumer. The room is worth $40-45/night on any night. It is never worth 70 so to try and fleece people on the weekend does not make the room better and worth more. The low rating is taking everything into consideration. Plus given there are nicer hotels with competitive pricing within walking distance to the Super8 your higher "weekend" price makes you the least value for that area.
I rate rooms cost adjusted, i.e. if you charge 40 I do not expect a "Marriott" bed. Had I paid 40 -50 I would have rated your hotel a 3star meaning an "ok" place for the money. For $70/night you are a 1star as a cost/value review
