Pros: - Absoluelty breath taking views, stayed in Banda 3 which is closest to the middle of the valley. - Hung out with some monkeys while having afternoon coffee outside my Banda. - Food was great and plentiful! Loved the soups. - Banda stay was super comfortable, water was hot to warm, western toilets (in self contained Banda), and plugs...

Lacam is the accommodation closest to the largest waterfall. We stayed in Banda 2, which Id recommend as it was private, with great views of the fall and right across the Uganda. Even a spectacular view from the shower! After doing a fair bit of research I chose Lacam and am so glad I did. Pros: -a stunning position in...

Lacam Lodge is set in a spectacular location next to one of the Sipi falls. For Uganda I would consider this a budget lodge where you can get small bandas and dorms as well as camp, however, the facilities are very basic and not so charming and the sanitary standards could be improved. The main dining area lacks atmosphere and...

The location has a decided WOW factor and it was wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the Falls. I love places which are a bit rough and ready and my banda was just that, the view from the simple, but working, shower was amazing and the bed comfy. The service was great, waiting is just part of what...

The view from the lodge and from the banda is amazing, really incredible. The staff was helpful and enough friendly, the organized hike to see the 3 waterfalls was really nice, the banda clean and comfortable, considering the lack of electricity, and the shower was warm. So, i would give this place a 5. However, the food was really disappointing,...

Lacam lodge is probably the best place to stay for an average to budget individual. Best view of the falls , decent accomodation ( both budget bandas and cottages ) , ok food and friendly staff. Its the closest to the falls and nature walks , guided tours to the bottom of falls are arranged . Just remember the weather...

I want to give this place 5 stars so badly, but I just can't quite. Firstly, the setting, perched on the edge of the ridge next to the main falls, is spectacular. The activities we did were really fun. We went on a coffee tour, where we walked to a nearby village and learned how to make coffee in the...

Stayed here for one day, the service was acceptable remembering that you are in Uganda. Yes you will have to wait 30 minutes for a cup of tea but if the charcoal fire isn't alight it has to be lit this is not un common. The meals were good and as for the views spectacular with many walks from the...

The lodge is in an amazing location, beautiful views! The only thing that let it down was the service, we waited 30 minutes for a cup of tea, when we where shown to our rooms there was no offer to carry our heavy bags (something I would expect for the price!) and items of our food where served with clingfilm...

We stayed in one of the bandas for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. You can see and hear the falls and the view is marvelous. It is a bit steep but they have made good and solid stairs. The 4 and 3 course dinners are good but for us a little bit too much. Cedrick is a wonderful guide...

“All cottages and bandas are next to the falls . Beautiful view!”

“It is a small lodge with I think 4 or 5 bandas and then the dormitories. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the rooms. But would ask for the banda close to the edge of the cliff near the falls. But they are all nice.”
