What a nice surprise! I booked this place off of the fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed! Claire and Woody were great hosts and spoke very good English. They were a huge help with recommendations on where to go and what to do on this mountainous side of the island. Laurent, the chef, spoke some English, but...

Gouadeloupe is a wonderful island with beautiful sceneries and lots of nature to explore. So what could be better than coming back in the afternoon to a cosy cottage situated in a tropical garden. Sitting outside on the big covered terrasse, listening to the birds, cicades (and sometimes the rain) and watch the palm trees as the afternoon turns to...

We stayed here for 5 nights on a Headwater holiday. The Hotels is friendly and the food excellent. the hosts are most welcoming and the individual lodges in an excellent position. Once you have found the short cut to Trois Rivieres it is 5 mins to the village and a little longer to the port.

Le Jardin Malanga is the place to stay. Although surrounding communities, L'Hermitage and Trois Riveres, are not that interesting, the hotel is a charming place--we already want to come back. The property isa part of an old banana plantation. Claire is a wonderful hostess-manager who gives great advice what to do and what see on the island. She is assisted...

Thanks to Claire, Laurent and Rudy for an amazing four nights! We arrived on Christmas Eve and treated to a gastronomic treat - a six course meal with unlimited beverages - we opted for the traditional Schrubb (rum drink). Personal care and attention is the key selling point at this boutique B&B that gives you the option for a nightly...

I recently stayed at Le Jardin Malanga and had one of the best hotel experiences of my life. Not only was it in the perfect location for the ferry and the National Park, the hotel amenities were exceptional! We were greeted by a warm staff, who stayed an extra 15 minutes to allow us to check in (we were running...

We stayed 1 night here in the main house, which is wooden & delightful. Had the large front room with several floor to ceiling windows, opening on to the verandah. Fab gardens, wonderful views over to Les Saintes and surprisingly good food. All handled by only 2-3 staff (the chef doubles as porter, receptionist etc). Excellent breakfast & good pool....

Sitting now on balcony of former plantation home. Spectacular beauty is in the scenery and people who run this small inn. Claire and Laurant passionately share their piece of paradise with you welcoming your visit with marvelous food and service. Not to be missed if staying in Basse Terre.
