We made reservations ahead of time based on online photos and the website. When we arrived we could not believe they were one in the same. Sites very unkept, low limbs, pot holes and just plain trashy appearance. Hope they will improve conditions soon.

We have a large group that has been coming here for the Halloween Festivities for 6 years and loved it UNTIL this year. One site had raw sewage back up on it, rental trailer had mouse droppings in cabinets and drawers, cabin had ants infested in refrigerator. How did the owner accommodate us, you say? They gave them each a...

i don't know where the recent poor reviewers stayed but it didn't reflect our experience here. We have stayed at about 25 RV campgrounds the past year and this is one of the nicest. Grounds are immaculate, The sites by the river are very large and long pull-throughs, and you can see glimpses of the river even from the second...

First time here with friends. Could be a great place however, the pond was so overgrown with weeds and cat tails and muck floating on the top you couldn't even fish my 3 year old grandson was soo looking forward to this. The play area had knee high grass and torn up teeter totter a kid actually fell off with...

The place has went down hill our camping club has been camping here for years. Trashy, unkept. Grass is not cut. Trash in the fire pits. This place could be a big money maker. The casino should purchase it. Very disappointed. I understand the owner passed away, he took such good care of it he would be so disgusted. The...

The people are friendly enough but the campground is starting to show wear and tear. The play grounds for the kids need work, the putt putt is really in sad shape, there is NO WIFI so if you need it , forget it. I even tried to use my own hot spot to no avail. The grass needed to be...

Booked a river site, sites were so small our picnic take was almost on top of our neighbor's dump site. There are very few sites with actual river views. Sites at the main area are even closer. They rent golfcarts which means young kids driving back and forth all night. Grass was very high, with lots of weeds at sites...

Lower campground a long ways from office, pool and other activities. No Wi-Fi at the lower campsites. Rough road at lower campground. River sites need the weeds trimmed so you could have a river view. Mowing crew damaged neighbor's portable satellite dish. Had to watch as to not scrape the trees with the R V.

Camped here in 37ft. motorhome. Sites were ok, some shade. Trees need trimming so not to scrape when pulling in. Nice fishing pond, pool on top side, cabins to rent. Below next to the river are more sites, but mostly in Sun. We stayed here while visiting the Creation Museum. Rates were reasonable.

The campground was pretty level and hooking up was easy. Everyone was friendly, even the seasonal ones we ran into. The owner unfortunately passed and the services were being held that weekend, so obviously a lot of activities were cancelled, but in true camping fashion, someone got the hayride going and someone offered a movie on a projector at their...

“The sites by the river a good distance from the amenities (club house) but much quieter and more spacious. The ones by the club house / check in area appear to be a little smaller and much more neighborhood style. Best of both worlds!”
