Just spent 3 days and nights at Howard staying at the Burrum River Caravan Park. Park was quiet at this time of year but looks like it is expanding and offering more spaces to travellers. I spent most of my time either on the water or in the parks swimming pool.. the park has its own boat ramp and jetty...

One of my favourite places to holiday. Every few months, my partner and I camp here to visit family. Our favourite camp-site overlooks the river and at night you can even hear the fish splashing about. We enjoy kayaking and fishing, with this trip providing good feeds of brim and prawns! Phil and Trudi are friendly hosts and are always...

Overnight stay was a pleasant surprise. Friendly and helpful staff. Even helping us to park on our site when we only had a camper trailer to park. Facilities were old but well maintained. Toilet & showers very clean. Steep walk down to pool was the only thing that concerned us.

We visited Howard recently to see family and found this caravan park on trip advisor. We just needed somewhere to sleep for 2 nights and the pricing was very reasonable. From the moment I called and booked I knew we were going to be happy with the accommodation. I advised that we would be arriving late (9pm) so arrangements were...

We would highly recommend this par - amenities a little dated but clean - lovely riverfront pool and deck - most enjoyable. Permanents made us feel...

I'd like to thank Trudy and Phil for their friendly service. We stayed over night in a cabin, which was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. Trudy offered us extra bedding if needed, and helpful local infomation. The park was also very clean. Keep up the great work.

Do yourself a favour and visit this caravan park, large sites, not only pet friendly but people friendly too. The managers can't do enough for you, amenities are always clean. We booked for 2 nights & stayed for 9, highlights are the communal camp fire, bus trip to the local pub & the visiting pizza oven.
