We stayed here for 4 nights while we were in town for our daughter's wedding. The place is clean, comfortable and absolutely charming. The hosts are as nice as you could wish. They went out of their way to be accommodating to my wife and I. Breakfasts were yummy and plentiful and Mark & his wife were excellent conversationalists. They...

Best B and B so far! Beth is a gracious host. Historic house is homey and comfortable. Our room was clean, spacious and quiet. Liked our private entrance and bath. The bed was soft. Breakfasts were delicious with lots of fruits and veggies. Home made bread and rich coffee. We will be back.

We had the nicest time at this lovely bed and breakfast. We like B&Bs but don't get a much of a chance because of kids. Got a chance to stay here and thought it was such fun. The room was clean and soooo inviting. The bed was perfect and our hosts were gracious and attentive. Thank you

Our first experience at the Smiths' home was for a college visit. Beth and Mark were full of great ideas of things to do and see around Iowa City. They made us feel at home. We stayed in the upstairs front bedroom with a comfy bed, desk, and roomy closet for hanging audition clothes. They wanted to hear all about...

Our 3-year-old and newborn were welcomed, as well as offered toys to play with. The spacious room, with private entrance, allowed us to have privacy when the baby was cranky in the evening. I especially appreciated that we were asked right away about dietary restrictions so that breakfast would contain no nuts, and was also meat-free. Everything was clean and...

Stayed here with our young kids. The B&B has a downstairs room with private entrance and not near other guest rooms. Perfect for families with young kids. Breakfast was good and location is great. The innkeepers were wonderful.
