The location of this Sheraton is great - right next to campus, on a street with good restaurants and bars. Iowa City isn't a big city so being at the center is nice. The actual hotel is nice - pretty basic Sheraton. But the staff are nice and the rooms are clean.

I stayed a week at Sheraton in Iowa City when I was taking a writing course at the summer writing festival. It was VERY uncomfortable. After 3 days of a torturous bed, I asked to check another room, to see if possibly they had better beds. Thankfully, they were better. It wasn't a 4 star, but it went from a...

More about the customers than the hotel. Very noisy in the corridors at 2am. Hotel itself was ok, restaurant not so hot, similar to the coffee it served. Excellent location though. Room was adequate. The separated restaurant spoils the set up but not much they could do about that. Would return but might like at alternatives first.

We spent 4 nights here and it was a great location! We had to be at University of Iowa for all 4 days so we stayed close and could walk everywhere. There are several restaurants of all types with in walking distance. We never drove anywhere. This hotel is in the middle of it all. Great workout room and other...

In this college town, there was not much choices and only Sheraton and Vetro (sitting side by side in downtown Iowa City) were available apart from staying in motels. It's Sheraton and all basic were up to standard but not expected extras. Overall, good stay but quite expensive.

The room was dirty, there were left over beer cane by the couch. Room doesn't has any Fridge, nor Microwave. Very expensive not even complimentary breakfast. The pool seems like clean and well maintain. I won't stay again.....

The Sheraton in Iowa City is possibly the worst placed I have ever stayed. It is impossible to reach the depths of terrible utilities, with rowdy guests and little help from the 'front desk," (except for Isaac who genuinely tried to help me. 1. Room #1: Had to be changed right way due to dirty linens left on the bed...

the mattress was like a huge marshmellow- almost suffocated me. But the room was exceptionally clean & fresh, very nice. Parking in the attached ramp was very expensive for Iowa, gouged us. The shower was truly handicap accessible- roll in type.

I stayed at the Sheraton for 4 nights during a recent visit to Iowa City. The good thing about this hotel s the location, right in the heart of Iowa City and a leisurely stroll across the river to the medical campus. The other good thing is that the staff was young, energetic, friendly, and helpful - this goes a...

Great one night stay with my adult daughter. Very comfortable beds, plenty of room, friendly staff and worth it to be on the club floor - waters, coffee, very nice breakfast with friendly attendant, and although we arrived too late, looked like there had been a healthy appetizer spread in the evening. Right on the pedestrian mall, you can walk...
