Detailed Reviews
We spent 1 night with other two couples as we wanted to explore this beautiful city. We arrived at 8:30 in the morning and they provide the 3 rooms at 9:00 AM without any cost which we really appreciated. Rooms are a little bit dated however they kept it very clean and tidy. We loved the private beach as is very large and quiet as well as the pool which is a good place to fresh up especially in this hot days during summer. Breakfast was very complete and had ab amazing view of the sea. The best was the staff, very friendly, approachable and acknowledging us with a smile everytime we were passing by The last day they also honored us with a late check out for the 3 rooms. If we come back to Khor Fakkan indeed we will choose Oceanic!

It was my families most memorable visit to the hotel.
The location was just perfect, the staff, service and ameneties were all upto the standards.
The hotel has taken all the precautions related to COVID 19. Rooms are sanitized and cleaning staff are doing thier duties with utmost care and responsibility.
Breakfast was nice, beach and pool was clean.
Highly recommended to people who want to enjoy the beach and mountain.
I would like to specially thank the following staff -: Mr. Nader and Ms. Carmina for making my trip memorable and unforgettable.

Any service requested was dealt with immediate action and response. The food quality was good and had adequate variety given the pandemic situation. They provide with gloves while you enter the restaurant in order to help us while taking the food from counter.
The hotel has a sanitization tunnel outside the reception and committed to ensuring safety of people during this pandemic.
The staff were friendly and responsive.
We were attended by Manoj when we checked in at the reception. He dealt with my queries and responded in a friendly manner. Manoj was very attentive and upon knowing it was one of my family members birthday while checking in the IDs, was very kind enough to send us a complimentary birthday cake.
We stayed at the villa and the property is a bit run down as it’s pretty old, it is a bit dusty and being by the beach it’s got a damp smell across. Having said that the facilities are good and have all necessary amenities.
Overall experience was great, we went over a weekday and it wasn’t very busy. It was quiet and good for families to stay. The beach is very beautiful and we enjoyed every bit of our stay.

Dates of Stay: 21 Dec 2020 - 23 Dec 2020
Room No: 607
The hotel was busy during that day and some are waiting for their rooms for hours. The hotel follows a strict sanitation guidelines, all guests are required to enter a sanitation tunnel upon entering the hotel premises. Hand sanitizers are available on all areas. We were assisted by Sharon for the quick check-in process, she is very helpful and approachable, luckily, our room is already prepared and we don't have to wait like the others.
Upon entering our room, we noticed that the rooms are smaller than what we expected, bath robes, slippers and other toiletries needs to be requested and its complimentary. Their pool is open till 9pm while their private beach is open till sunset only. There are fast food chains across the hotel and a gas station with a mini supermarket located nearby. Taxi is available but you have to book it through local transport hotline. The new Khorfakkan Amphitheatre and Waterfall is nearby.
They have a wide variety of food choices for breakfast and their dining area is overlooking the beach. Food is being served by the kitchen staff as guests are not allowed to touch the serving utensils for precautionary measures. Food service within the pool area are available as well, and they offer it with a reasonable price.
Their internet connection is one of our main issue as it is not stable and reliable, we ended using our own data plan to access the internet. Also, the noise from the hallway can disturb your sleep, as you can hear it clearly from the room. The hotel is old so don't expect a usb socket inside your room and the water coming out from the bathroom (bathroom sink, bidet and shower) there are dirts and strange smell for the first few seconds but eventually disappears.
Overall, we still have a great time staying at this hotel, also, there are no huge hotel chains around the area thus we have no options but to book at this hotel. We would like to commend the housekeeping team for their active response to our request and also to Ms. Sharon who assisted us throughout our stay.
If you are only visiting Khorfakkan, this hotel is a good option otherwise, check the other hotel properties from nearby towns/cities.

Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), United Arab Emirates19 contributions18 helpful votesBrought via Groupon deal for a friend and I for one night.
When we drove up to the front entrance there were no other cars in the drive but yet after nearly 10mins no concierge came to serve us. There was no valet parking service we had to park and walk back in the hot summer sun fortunately it wasn’t far to the reception.
Requested an early check-in and was told it was possible but unfortunately even when we arrived at 2:50pm 10mins prior to arrival the room still wasn’t ready even though judging on the number of guests in the carpark didn’t seem to be busy.
Staff were certainly friendly enough on the front desk explained that breakfast would be brought to the room if we wished due to the covid situation we were happy enough for that.
Room was clean and fresh, spacious but the fridge wasn’t cold for our soft drinks and water we brought and wanted to make cold. That said we ordered ice to the room to which the staff were really helpful and swift :)
Unfortunately the hotel has no balconies attached to the rooms which was a bit of a shame as I love to sit outside at night / sunset i didn’t realize this when I booked. The view had some oil rigs in the far distance but the overall ocean view was nice. I love the beach here.
The pool is nice and cool, super quiet in summer which is to be expected so we didn’t mind the lack of atmosphere. I must say though I ran out of water whilst I was down there and asked for either a bottle from the pool staff or for my bottle to be refilled but was declined. Generally at a 4 to 5 star hotel I’d expect waters to be on hand especially by the pool in the hot summer months.
Breakfast was decent and food fresh and hot. Came within 15mins of putting our order in which was great.
Checkout was given until 1pm so one hour later than standard.
Overall it was an ok stay, nothing special as such but the price was fair at 300aed for 2 ppl w breakfast for 1 night. Although I do need to say, my recent stay at Dukes 5 star hotel on the Palm in Dubai wasn’t much more 500aed a night with 250aed free on FNB, amazing breakfast, upgraded room, balcony, early check-in, late checkout and faultless service was far superior and more bang for our buck.

I want to thank the filipino receptionist for granting my request. I was surprised when I entered the room and saw the fantastic view of the ocean. Initially I asked her if she could give as a room with a view, however she informed us that the available room is only the mountain view rooms, But still she managed to grant the request. The room service is quite fast and for the buffet breakfast it is not ok.
In addition to this review what I don't like are the lifeguards attitude. We are a family of five, the 3 towels initially provided to us was soiled as I used it in the sand. When we transferred to the pool I surrendered the 3 towels and asked for another towel, what the lifeguard told me was "I already gave you the towels right",This will be the last towels I'm going to give you". I thinks this is kind of a rude attitude. How can you say this to your customer.
Then the next day another lifeguard was calling me and I did not heard him at all, when I returned to get the towels he' tone is quite annoyed and telling me that "I keep on calling you but you just keep on goin" I think the life guard should have a training for customer service as they have poor customer service.
The house keeping service as well was not wearing a gloves when they gave us the additional bath towels we requested, gloves is not necessary if the towels are wrapped in plastic bags, However the towels are not wrap.
But all in all, the place is fantastic and staffs are friendly except for the lifeguards.

Well we reached at 14:00 hrs and had to wait 40 mins for check in because check in time is 15:00hrs. So be sure not to arrive too early on the weekends as the resort is really busy. Having said that, the wait was worth it because they gave us a beautiful ocean view room at it was incredible. This resort has it all!! Beautiful private beach access (Till 6 pm - closed after due to the tide). Awesome pool + kids pool and bar/smoothie outlet in the pool so you can swim up to it. Rooms are very comfortable and really clean. To order in room dining you can check their menu on their Facebook page. Breakfast is a gorgeous spread, they do not allow you to serve yourself from the buffet but they have their chefs there to assist and they are very quick and active. The duty manager who checked us in was also very polite and friendly. We stayed in 3 rooms, the view from 421(Ocean) and 613 (Mountain) was breathtaking. This place is close to the public beach and park, has a pizza hut, KFC and Hardees close by. Also the colosseum and fountain tourist attraction is a 5min walk away and very refreshing to visit and very Instagram able. Resort is Close to the petrol station. Prefer to self park at the resort. Hotel has a sanitization tunnel and staff are vaccinated against covid, so good effort. Will definitely visit again as the experience was wonderful.

Always a wonderful stay. Been going here for 3 consecutive weeks because of the sunset and of course the beachfront.
If you love the beach, sunset and privacy, this is the place for you.
The caravan we stayed in was a little bit old. But hey, you only use it to sleep in. We were out in the sun the whole day enjoying the view and the place.
The caravan is equipped with an aircon, oven/ stove top, microwave, & shower. They provide toiletries except towels.
Outside grill and charcoal are also available.
Don’t expect a 5-star hotel facilities... However, the view and the staff will make up for these..
We requested for a mini pool for an additional fee and it didn’t disappoint. My son enjoyed it especially when the waves begin to get rough. They have also an outside cinema upon request.
All in all, a lovely place to just chill and relax. Will definitely come back again. And again. And again...
