Driving through Iowa, looking for a place to lay my head for the night .... I could check into a hotel/ motel or I could unpack my tent. Last night I chose my tent. Good choice! Great nights sleep, KOA camp ground hosts were so nice. I drive a pickup and haul a trailer for my motorcycle, the ladies working...

Worst KOA we've been to. Campsites for RVs are so small I could literally touch our and our neighbor's RVs at the same time. Bathrooms were filthy and humid. This is the 7th campground and 5th KOA we've stayed at on this trip and it was the worst by far. It's next to the highway and so loud you have...

We were passing thru in our motorhome on our way to California. We weren’t sure how far we would get that day, so we had no reservation. It also turned out to be a race weekend. Good thing we were there on a Thursday. Even tho the “regular” sites were all sold out, they found us a place in the...

I have stayed at many KOA campgrounds and this is the worst I've come across. The sites are small. The one I was given could barely accommodate our 32' fifth wheel and King cab F250. Our site was not level AT ALL. Drainage of tanks was impossible. Only a few sites had fire pits (I believe this is because most...

This is a extremely friendly KOA right off route 80. Campsites are shady and easy to pull in for an RV. Pool is clean. Staff are super nice, couldn't be nicer! They wash the picnic tables every morning for you! Seriously?!? Outstanding! The only reason I gave them a 4 and not a 5 is due to the highway noise,...

Stopped over night on our way home with our Motorhome. Very nice older KOA that is improving their park. Most the lots are good sized. Wide enough for slides and space around. Long enough for my 45 Motorhome and a car. They have grass sites for tents. A nice pool, small recreation room and a good store for RV stuff....

We stayed at the new cabin that was added this year for 2 weekend nights/days. The cabin was very nice. We slept well and our 10 year old enjoyed it. TV w/ cable, frig, microwave, hot plate, cookware and dishes provided. I cooked breakfast on the hot plate for 7 and it went very quickly. I also fixed dinner on...

This was a nice campground, the staff was friendly. We enjoyed our visit here. It is noisy with traffic sounds next to I-80, but we expect that in a KOA. We tent camp, our site was a very nice size. We found the restrooms pleasantly clean and comfortable.

This was a good base for our extended family while attending the Iowa State Fair. The RV sites tend to be very tight but they reserved us a nice expansive lot for a pop up plus one tent -- with immediate access to additional tent sites for others in the party. Friendly people in charge. Bathroom generally clean but not...

We stayed here overnight in a popup. Sites are close but we had enough room - the usual KOA experience. Pool was awesome - nine feet deep! Cicadas were VERY loud until 10pm or so but quieted after dark. Game room was meh...playground was kind of sad. Very old equipment and sand instead of bark. Two areas need improvement. First,...
