Flying in late after work from Melbourne, we had no trouble finding our beds and getting ready to roll early the next morning. Kian and Alyson had left the code to get in, and breakfast in the fridge so we could ride as early as we wanted. There's a bike wash area, which you'll need if you do most trails....

Great beer and great food with comfortable beds. Not much else you need. This is the place to stay if you want to sample some of the Blue Derby mountain bike trails. Amazing. You can grab a lift to the top of the Atlas decent which will save a lot of up hill riding.

Friendly caretakers of the Weldborough Pub, Alison (Glasgow) and Kian (Canberra) are a fine young couple who are apparently already at the centre of local action. A beautiful pub, with every micro-brew from within Tassie's shores. I enjoyed Iron House porter, beer-battered fish with chips and salad, by the fire.

We stayed at this English Georgian style pub for three nights during our mountain bike adventure in Tassie. We couldn't find suitable accommodation in Derby so settled on Weldborough and are so glad we did! Easy check in, great hospitality, hearty food, no mobile reception and cosy room made for a relaxing and easy stay. Don't expect modern decor, it...

The best beer and friendly helpful owners. The food was lovely too mostly homemade. Having no ensuite wasnt a problem and the bed was the most comfortable in our 4 week stay in Tassie. Lovely garden to sit in too at the end of a days sight seeing.

What a character filled little pub ! We had back tracked specifically to have a quiet drink after a day on the road. On arrival, we were the only people at the bar, so had a good chat with the publican about his on tap beers, and the various micro brewers throughout Tassie, We could tell that he had a...

We had an overnight stay at the Weldborough Hotel. We stayed in the little cabin The Hilton. It was a cosy fit. 2 rooms. With Tea an coffee facilities. The toilet and shower are shared with the other campers. 10 meters from the cabin they were clean and tidy. The pub itself itself has a fantastic selection of local beers...

Weldborough Hotel Tassie, super friendly people, magnificent lunch and extremely good range of local beers. A must stop for Motorcyclists. We didn't stay the night but only because we had other accommodation pre booked. Will try and stay on our next trip.

This is a quaint pub com lodge. We had a great deal 4bunk beds to a room at aud 107only. The owner bought this place after retiring from the petrochemical industry in mainland australia so he not so experienced in being a great inn keepers. For example we had to figure out how to return our keys in the morning...

Came here as part of a large group (25+ cars and campertrailers) mid week by arrangement. Its normally closed mid week. The grounds are nice and varied and its all free camping. We ended up near the road and main entrance, but road noise was minimal and did affect our sleep though there were a few logging trucks going through....
