It’s not often I write or recommend a hotel or restaurant, so when i do, it’s exceptional. And XIOBELLA Hotel, perched on the edge of a 10km Long clean Beach with each room having exceptional views is amazing.
Nestled off the beaten track of Corporate hotels, XIOBELLA is a family owned boutique hotel that is simple, clean and offers a sincere customer concern for their stay. Each room is sparsely decorated, but with a local elegance and flair with balconies to enjoy the views. The hotel has a beautiful heated salt-water pool on a deck that over looks the ocean waves and a bar to keep you all the more happy.
Keep in mind this is a boutique hotel that proves that sincerity and authenticity can always out perform the best of Corporate luxury. When we arrived at the hotel, by a car the hotel arranged, we were greeted outside and offered cold towels and Wonderfully refreshing Champagne.
The front desk Manager offered to show us the rooms and for us to choose - we chose something unexpected and exceptional. The penthouse suite; which is not listed, but sits on the top of the A-Frame thatched roof and is an open environment, that allows the wind, sounds and smells of nature seep through. The room was spotless and absolutely beautiful, as all the rooms we saw. The bed super comfortable and with coffee and a coffee maker it proved to be a remarkable stay!
The hotel hosts an excellent chef that prepares wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner, with weekend live music performances. The service is accommodating. And the hotel is spotless. The staff are all super friendly and seemingly proud of their work to make their guests happy. My only regret is that we have to leave.
Before even arriving, Jose, the manager was texting to to ensure that everything was just right and throughout our stay we could and did contact him for advice, taxi’s , directions , basically anything and everything! So a very special thank you to Jose and his entire team.

My wife and I had the very best time at this hotel! The staff made us feel at home and like old friends from the moment we walked in the door! A++ coming from a guy who has seen it all. The food here is simple amazing! The restaurant staff was professional, friendly and simply pleasure. The bar staff made us drinks that were fun and tasty.The views are unmatched. I literally cannot say enough about Xiobella. It made our vacation the best of our lives. The beaches are clean, and made our exploring fun and carefree. With option of massages in our room was so nice. Room service was fast and delicious. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. Taco service is fast and top notch. A ride to Punta Mita takes about 10 min and very affordable. This hotel will not be a hidden gem for long! We will return for sure!!

We are familiar with Punta Mita and Punta Negra. We have stayed at this beach several times before. Hotel Xiobella is a new property, so we thought we would try it out. It was an amazing week! The room was wonderful with contemporary finishes, quiet a/c and incomparable views directly over the beach and ocean. The staff was excellent. They were extremely helpful and attentive to details. We couldn't do anything without someone jumping in to assist: chairs on the beach, towels, umbrellas, coffee, cocktails, apps. Whatever we needed, they were ready! We tried everything on the menu and it was all excellent. Jose Casillas was a fantastic guest service representative. We also enjoyed all the staff including Esteban, Rene, Roxana, Eduardo, Ricardo, Lupita, Gustavo and the kitchen staff. I can't tell you how friendly everyone is. Forget the current media nonsense and go enjoy a quiet getaway at Xiobella!

This hotel is perfect for those who don’t want to be in a busy area of town. If you don’t rent a car, however, be aware the cab fare is steep, approx $75 usd from/to airport, and uber usually is not available. I wish this was told to me. Staff is wonderful and communication via WhatsApp was very good, but they never answered phone. The surf is usually manageable and there is a Boogie Board available to borrow. I had a lot of fun using it. The beach is wonderful for jogging or walking, and we always felt safe. The queen sized beds on the beach are perfect for napping surf side, and are a nice touch. Look forward to our next visit.

This was a last minute booking to get away for one night. From the moment you arrive you’re greeted with 5 star service. I wish I could remember all the names of everyone but the receptionist who checked me in was exceptionally personable. The bartender saw me arrive and brought me a welcome drink and introduced himself. My bags were whisked away to my room and the concierge personally walked me to my room and helped me locate a phone charger. We headed down to the pool and beach the exceptional service never ends. The pool is truly perfect. The beach is secluded and perfect. The food is delicious. I have travelled the world and have never seen such service and excellence for such an affordable price. You will not be disappointed! I’m already rebooking for July and bringing friends.

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is! Everyone truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Beautiful location on what feels like a private beach, spacious rooms, super comfy bed, great shower/water pressure, gorgeous infinity pool, attentive staff, delicious food/drinks, fun and well-executed excursions, high quality entertainment, unbeatable rooftop views, the list goes on. Total paradise and the best place to get away from it all! Cannot recommend enough. My experience here was fabulous. You don’t have to stay at the Four Seasons to be treated like royalty. The staff and service are beyond outstanding. I have never been cared for so well. The hotel itself is simply yet elegantly appointed using lots of stone, wood, and glass. The bed and bath are modern, comfortable, and immaculate. The food and drinks are excellent. The location is stunningly beautiful and quiet, but with lots of activities. The entire place is simply wonderful, but it’s the people here that make it truly special. The way they treated me makes it feel like a five star home. I simply can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

Well I’m not one to usually make time to write a review but this place was an outstanding hidden gem that calls for the time to rave about every inch of it! New to the scene - just opened and they are crushing it. The rooms: are modern, gorgeous, spacious, clean, all have ocean view.
The food: I’m always nervous to do all you can eat but my goodness is it absolutely worthwhile here!! My partner and I don’t drink so we didn’t think it would be worthwhile but WOW ON WOW you’re going to want to take a bite out of everything the food is so delicious you can tell this chef knows what they’re doing and I’ll admit I am an extreme food snob (unlike my boyfriend). I’m a very picky eater and they accommodate EVERY request.
The views: couldn’t be more beautiful, pristine and exclusive. That’s why you’ll come but the food is why you’ll stay... and never want to leave😭 I want to take the chef home with me!
The staff: I usually dont rate this part but believe me when I say they treat you like they genuinely are here to support all your needs and concerns. (Though you’ll have few and everything is perfection) but so accommodating friendly, great English speaking and Jorge even helped us with viewing the rooms first as well as ensuring we were all set for our religious practice of keeping Shabbat. They truly give the personal golden touch and five star service!
Ok final thought: the beds- are comfier then mine back home! The sheets and even the towels are so insanely soft. You’ll never want to leave!
Did I mention I’m coming back bc I never want to leave?!

We love staying at boutique hotels and this one is pretty even though it does not live up to its name of luxury hotel, but we really enjoyed our stay and discovered for this area, it's a reasonable price. We spent time at the Conrad which is gigantic and perfect and true luxury but we preferred staying here. When we come to Mexico we expect staff to speak Spanish but here the staff was fully bilingual at the front desk and restaurants. The view when you come in your room right on the ocean is breath taking, there is a nice infinity pool, the rooms are big because there is a couch in a separate room/living room/extra bedroom but you always want to stay in the bedroom overlooking the water. If you have a problem sleeping, the sound of the waves might be too much for you: make sure to bring ear plugs. Yes there are some kinks but it's part of traveling to Mexico, it's not North America and we appreciate that. They should only avoid the word Luxury in their name and it would perfect.

I'd like to take the time to thank Alvaro at the receptionist for the quick and professional check-in. I honestly loved the quietness and deserted beach area, it's like a secret location for couples to really spend time with one another and unwind. Or families that like to refrain from crowds and huge resorts. This is a really nice place to relax, but I can also understand how it can become boring after quite some time (lack of activities and things to do nearby). I would have given this place a five star review if it was not for the extremely high priced taxi services provided. Please keep in mind, there is no Uber, just Taxi companies that charge prices that are over-exaggerated (even for someone living in New York, it was unbelievable). Just to visit Sayulita, it costed $65+ (round trip), which was mind blowing because the location was only about 15 minutes away, easy ride with no traffic. It really left a bad taste in our mouth and makes tourists not want to return to this hotel or visit anything nearby. Thankfully, Estefania (front desk receptionist) was able to help us find a reasonable taxi to take us back to Puerto Vallarta center, where we continued our trip at another hotel. I am sad to say that this hotel has so much potential and the workers are really kind but the transportation situation makes one not want to return. I hope the owner/management will look into ways to providing shuttles or in-house transportation methods with reasonable pricing.
