From the time you arrive you feel totally welcome and step into a charming, clean house. Les and Louise have made it very unique and added lots of special touches. We as a young family have stayed here a few times and we are still excited about staying a fourth time later this year.. The food is delightful and I'd...

Bois Bourdet is set in a beautiful, peaceful location and has wonderful welcoming hosts in Les and Louise (and not forgetting daughter Ellie!). It is ideal for families with young children and has high quality accommodation, lovely gardens and grounds including a heated pool, swing, slide, trampoline, wendy house and resident chickens! We have spent 2 wonderful hoilidays there and...

We stayed at Bois Bourdet with our young son and have booked to go again this year with our daughter as well. The setting is rural, peaceful and beautiful. The faclities for young children are fantastic and ensure a truly relaxing holiday for us all. The most outstanding part of the holiday for us was the first class food, served...

BB is simply magnificent. Les and Lou are fabulous hosts, the setting is magical, the facilities excellent and the food wonderful. Trip Advisor only allow five stars but be in no doubt this place is worth more. We are returning again this year for our <lost count> visit. It will not be our final visit! A very, very, very special...

We stayed at Bois Bourdet for 2 weeks with our 2 young children last summer. This was our first holiday to France with the kids in tow so I had done a lot of research prior to traveling to ensure everything would work out and we definitely were not disappointed. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and has everything you could...

As soon as we arrived at Bois Bourdet on a balmy summers evening to be met with a warm welcome and the offer of a cold beer I knew this wasn't going to be our last visit. It wasn't ! Hosts, Les and Lou and charming daughter Ellie couldn't have been more accomodating during our stay in this rural idyll....

We love this place so much that we are about to go back for our fifth visit! We have been at all times of the year, including Christmas and have always had a fantastic time, with plenty to do. The gite has the feel and quality of a boutique hotel, but with Les and Louise's warm family welcome. Nothing is...

I have to admit I am reluctant to write this review, as I would prefer (for selfish reasons) for Bois Bourdet to remain the well-kept secret it's been to date! But knowing what a shortage there is of family friendly holidays out there, and how desperately parents with small children deserve a relaxing annual break, I have relented. We stayed...

We have just planned 3rd trip to Bois Bourdet with our children (6 and 9) and we really couldn't wish for a more perfect holiday. Les and Louise really have given 100% in making this a wonderful family holiday. Situated at the end of a country lane, and fully secure and away from any traffic these farm buildings have been...

“We stayed both in the farmhouse, and in the bergerie, for one week in each. It is difficult to say which would be the better option, as both are great. They both have two bedrooms, so the baby did not have to sleep in our room which was great. The bergerie is open plan, with huge living, dining and kitchen areas. Everything is on the ground floor, including the bedrooms. The farmhouse has a separate living room, and kitchen-dining room, with the two bedrooms on the first floor.”
