From the moment I booked the room to the minute we left, our experience was top notch. Ken greeted us at our car. His service was wonderful. The room we stayed in was perfect. And Ken makes a great breakfast!

What a great place to spend the weekend. The Inn was built in 1856 and used as a stagecoach stop along the Mississippi River. The property was completely renovated and finished in 2006 I believe. The Innkeeper, Ken, is a great host and does a good job explaining everything about the inn and even gives you a little history lesson...

Spent one night here while traveling along the River Trail and glad we did. We've stayed in some nice B&B's over the years and this is among the best. Ken, the Inn Keeper is a great host as is very attentive to anything needed. Makes you feel comfortable. The room we stayed in ( Buena Vista ) was comfortable and...

We spent one night here as our first B&B. It was wonderful. Ken is a great host, greeted us outside, carried a bag in, told us history of this beautiful house. The evening was great. The next morning, we had a gourmet breakfast of just what we ordered. A wonderful experience. We will definitely stay again if we are in...

160+ year old Inn with picturesque view on Mississippi River. I'm not into B&B's, but this one was different. With only 4 rooms, this amazing B&B was restored tastefully with all the old world charm and modern conveniences. In fact, this limestone structure in a town of less than 100 had better Wi-Fi than large hotels in NYC, Minneapolis or...

Having never stayed at a B&B before, I was immediately impressed when the innkeeper (Ken) came outside to greet us. He gave us a tour of the house and grounds and the history that went with it. Rooms were very clean; very comfortable king size bed and the bathroom had a modern walk in shower. Very fluffy white towels, not...

We spent one night here after visiting Field of Dreams. What a beautiful place! There are 4 rooms available, each with its own bath. We had the Buena Vista room on the second floor, which was beautiful and large, plus had a stunning bathroom. There are 2 rooms on the second floor and 2 on the third floor. There is...

My husband and I drove to Sherrill to start our Great River Road trip up the Mississippi. We arrived on Sunday evening to a wonderful surprise, this place is lovely! Ken was a great host. We had a fire outside that evening and watched fireworks. The next morning after a very comfortable sleep we woke to an amazing breakfast. Banana...

This was our first time staying at The Black Horse Inn and we will definitely be back! Ken, the innkeeper, was very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. The inn is beautiful and our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Ken prepared a delicious breakfast for us with our choices from the menu, complete with homemade banana bread from...
