From the moment we arrived my wife and I truly enjoyed the whole stay. The breakfast was amazing, the room was beautiful along with the views. The host was very genuinely kind. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back.

The Black Horse Inn offers comfortable accommodations in a beautiful historic setting with a superb Innkeeper. Rooms are spacious, the building is extremely interesting and Ken prepares a full, delicious breakfast (per your requested items). He is also a wealth of information concerning the Inn and surrounding area. We were there two nights and were absolutely satisfied with our stay....

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend while on a romantic getaway for our tenth anniversary. Ken is a gracious and attentive host! From the second we turned the corner and saw the inn in the distance, we could feel the sense of history. Ken met us at our car and gave us a mini tour of the...

From the moment I booked the room to the minute we left, our experience was top notch. Ken greeted us at our car. His service was wonderful. The room we stayed in was perfect. And Ken makes a great breakfast!

Had a great time, the xmas decorations were beautiful. Very cozy sitting in front of the fireplace catching up. Ken cooked us a lovely special request dinner. Really great atmosphere. We will be back!

What a great place to spend the weekend. The Inn was built in 1856 and used as a stagecoach stop along the Mississippi River. The property was completely renovated and finished in 2006 I believe. The Innkeeper, Ken, is a great host and does a good job explaining everything about the inn and even gives you a little history lesson...

Spent one night here while traveling along the River Trail and glad we did. We've stayed in some nice B&B's over the years and this is among the best. Ken, the Inn Keeper is a great host as is very attentive to anything needed. Makes you feel comfortable. The room we stayed in ( Buena Vista ) was comfortable and...

We spent one night here as our first B&B. It was wonderful. Ken is a great host, greeted us outside, carried a bag in, told us history of this beautiful house. The evening was great. The next morning, we had a gourmet breakfast of just what we ordered. A wonderful experience. We will definitely stay again if we are in...

160+ year old Inn with picturesque view on Mississippi River. I'm not into B&B's, but this one was different. With only 4 rooms, this amazing B&B was restored tastefully with all the old world charm and modern conveniences. In fact, this limestone structure in a town of less than 100 had better Wi-Fi than large hotels in NYC, Minneapolis or...

Having never stayed at a B&B before, I was immediately impressed when the innkeeper (Ken) came outside to greet us. He gave us a tour of the house and grounds and the history that went with it. Rooms were very clean; very comfortable king size bed and the bathroom had a modern walk in shower. Very fluffy white towels, not...
