Chalet amidst the lush greenery of Kinabalu Park. Cool crisp fresh air, no need for any airconditioning. Natural fresh air. What is spectacular is the beautiful sight of Mount Kinabalu (S.E.A. highest mountain with World Heritage Accreditation) greeting you each time you open your room door! ( A lot of insects, though)

Good one night stay here before trekking around the national park. Positives: very friendly staff and amazing location with some stunning views and nice chilled vibe. Clean bathrooms etc. The moths and insects are very abundant but interesting. But if you don't like insects I'd say go somewhere else. Negatives: 2km from the actual park, the walk is actually fine...

You would stay here for the views definetly, but the downside is long rough driveway to lodge, shared bathroom and toilets, thats not a problem for a couple of nights, the staff are lovely, make sure to tell the girls early that you want dinner cooked otherwise you have to go out to find somewhere, meals nice but basic and...

Nature lovers will love this place with no wifi or TV but isabundant with great nature. Mount.kotakinabalu at the back, many birds and moths and insects.A perfect place for birders and the location is in a walking distance to the Kinabalu park. Not recommended for people who want to make lot of noise because you will destroy the place.

I stayed here on night after climbing Mt Kinabalu. The lodge is a couple of kilometers from the Kinabalu Park, but I didn't mind the walk. But consider this if you have heavy luggage. The dorm room is quite basic and it got a bit cold during the night. Basic but clean shower and bathroom facilities. The view from the...

This was my second stay at Kinabalu Mountain Lodge... my first trip had a few bumps in it because my expectations differed from the result. This time I knew exactly what I was in for--thin walls, an intense hike in from the road, a mediocre shared bathroom. The pros outweighed the cons, though: the view (honestly, the surroundings of the...

We had a few heavy bags and managed to get a lift from the road to the lodge - it may have been a challenge otherwise! We stayed in the dorm, which was clean and very quiet, the only issue is that it's a bit of a walk to the bathroom. Great place to stay, though. Wonderful views, good atmosphere...

After a hefty walk up the drive to the Lodge we instantly realised it was worth it! The views from the porch area were fantastic and the sunset was incredible. We stayed in the dorm rooms which were very cosy, I'm a big fan of the enclosed bed dorms, capsule type with a curtain. Shared kitchen which was great as...

Our two night stay was calm, peaceful and incredibly relaxing. We spent two days and two nights at the lodge and were really happy with the accomodation and the beautiful scenery. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. It can be very cold at night so it's recommended to bring warm clothes! Linen and a light duvet is provided and...
