All the rooms at Bayu Senja opens up to a beautiful view of the valley. We stayed at the upper floor, which gave an even better view. On the night of a clear sky, you can even see stars. Although the room is not equipped with an air condition, the cool and fresh mountain air is enough to do the trick. The place is definitely peaceful and quiet, as the nearest restaurant is a 5-10 mins drive away. The roads are quite narrow and dark, so to walk out for food in the dead of night would be quite dangerous. The place is slightly out of the way and if you are driving at night, you might miss the turn off as there are not clear lid signage to indicate the location. The shared kitchen could be better maintained but I guess, it could be the guest(s) who did not picked up after themselves. Another note is that the hot shower, aren't exactly hot and not even close to warm, probably because the water is so cold that the heater is unable to heat the water up properly.…

The lodge very near to PekanKundasang. Quite surprise its a bit warm here, they even have fan in the room! Room is nice and clean, TV got several channel like HBO/FOX. No breakfast provided, however you can order somee food at the receptionist. The view is beautiful especially in the morning. At night, you can do some BBQ if come in large group of guest

The location was in the middle of Kundasang which was great. Going into the area was hard because of the road. I would recommend to rent a bigger car and also its really dark at night. Room & toilet is clean, parking is moderate. Staff is also friendly. Kitchen has a very funny smell, don't recommend cooking there. You can hear footsteps from the upper floor so make sure you are aware of this before choosing the room on the lower ground. Can't really see mt kinabalu from the place, but u can drive in about 2 mins and stop by the side to get a great view of the mountain

Good: 1. The room is clean 2. Warm water (not hot) for shower 3. Nice view from the porch, though I prefer Mount Kinabalu Not so good: 1. The road leading to the lodge is quite bumpy and challenging to drive 2. Wi-Fi was down when I was there 3. Can't see Mount Kinabalu from the lodge

sangat berpuas hati dengan lodge ini. my third time in kundasang n this by far the best place to stay lebih2 lagi my trip this time was with my parents whos age is 70+ n really hope that this place can please them n yes they did! the only problem is the road going to the lodge.
