The property was very near Mt kinabalu and all rooms had a nice view. The building was very basic. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. This place is popular with families with kids... so if staying on the ground floor, expect some noise from the 1st floor guests, which seems to be amplified as if a herd of elephants were running around at night.

5 nights in Ranau/Kundasang with 3 different accommodations. This is the worst. Kindly see my photos to back my statement: No restaurant/cafe No TV No mosquito/ insect net while enjoying the Not a clean duvet and sheets (Duvet only for midgets I assume) No proper wall/insulation between rooms/flooring No proper parking space No proper driveway (rocky and dangerous: especially for novice drivers) No proper furniture in the room No toiletries or proper quality towel No proper water heater system No wifi (goes without saying) Note: please don’t stay at this place if you are 1.) light sleeper: you can hear the slightest cough and foot step in neighboring room. 2.) Stunning view of the Mount Kinabalu in front of you the moment you look at the window. Provided basic facility. Has a pantry providing simple coffee and tea. Flooring is most probably made by wood hence can hear the stepping/walking sound.

This place, the room no air cond, No Tv, No Mini Bar, parking area available but not really good condition, they change their contact number but not publish it on line, the towel very thin, the only good thing are view of KINABALU, the staff are not friendly, the pantry room got a lot of fly, This place need to upgrade immediately, ROOM rate are reasonable

Stayed for a night in a double room. Easy to locate with digital map. A short rough road from main road to the lodge. Arrived at 1.30pm nobody's there to assist for check-in even rang the bell and called the contact. At ard 1.50pm, a lady showed up from the village nearby n she asked us to wait till 2pm. Thus, be there on time. Dont be early or nobody would entertain u. While we waited, we walked ard n found a common room with a pantry n toilet. Nobody introduced it to us even after check-in. Room was primitive but functional. There were a bathroom, a double bed, a small mirror table set, a fan, two towels n curtain in the room. Hooks were adequate. Two plastic chairs were put in front of each room for u to enjoy the mountain view. Water was strong n hot enough for shower. No issue for toilet flushing. No toilet paper was given until u asked. No TV no wifi. This was expected. Absolutely NO soundproof. It was like dinosaurs walking upstairs. There were kids upstairs BOM BOM BOM upstairs during my stay. Many interesting insects out there in the corridor. Good view of Mount Kinabalu and the village around. Check out was just putting the key into a mailbox. It's OK for one night stay but I may not choose this one if there's another chance.…
