Best view of Mt Kinabalu is definitely from Studio 2. However, the room is very, very old and run down. Cockroaches, mosquitoes and cats. Wanted to self cater during our stay but there is no refrigerator in the room despite having a small kitchen. The lady let us store our groceries in the drink's fridge downstairs. There is no breakfast here. Cooking limited to one wok and a rice cooker. Very limited utensils, crockery and cutlery.

This is a very nice Classy hotel with a huge casino and swimming pool. The food is expensive a little but it’s very delicious. I would definitely stay here again. The staff is very nice and helpful and it’s walking distance from everything.

Stayed here for a night celebrating new year with friends, arrived here we were welcomed with a very friendly receptionist, she was also being helpful and generous fulfilling our bbq needs such as knife, dishes and etc, credit to that, on the other half there are also rooms to improve: Rooms: Arent that privacy due to thin wall seperating room to room, you can hear clearly what your neighbour are up to, lol and yikes. Mountain view room arent that startegic located, it was located on the right side and hardly can spot it. But view is still ok. Shower, due to maybe sharing the water pressure, water is weak and sometimes no water came out from the shower (on my experience with the shower), not sure about other rooms No tv, no 3 in 1 coffee tho i think considering the price, they should provide, and if you wanted to stay here a coffee is a must bcs u do want to drink hot begerages in the morning! Its haven with view and cool weather. Bbq you have to share the area with the others, and too much noise arent allowed, well thats too bad if you wanted to enjoy new year with friends when you wanted to enjoy music while bbqing. Gladly they allow us to do our bbq infront of our room. And we felt more private as we dont have to share space with others. Overall still a good experience.

During my stay on May 2018, we booked the standard room. Though the room has the mountain view, but just outside our room is a wild bush that has rubbish here and there and the smell from that area is quite smelly as well. Another down point is the room has no air ventilation thus we have to open the sliding door all the time or else the room will feel congested. But then, mosquito and flies will fly into our room and it was annoying. The sheet and blanket was thin and not suitable for the weather as it gets icy cold at night. Luckily enough, our hot water works during our 1 night stay there. Pro's is spacious parking space and easy to find which is just by the roadside. Overall comment, not going to stay there again and truthfully, not recommended especially if you stay as family with small children.
