Loved the individual cottages style rooms, very very clean. Only negative the wifi didn't work but therefore I got some extra sleep which was a bonus :). Fantastic food, all together a gem of a place to stay for business or holiday

Hidden away down a narrow one3 track road with passing places, but only 2+ miles off the M20 and within very easy reach of Maidstone, this is a hidden gem. The dinners were excellent with very good choice and ther restaurant was always full [on 3 nights]. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and service excellent. I cam back...

Stayed here on business, had a great welcome the room was basic but comfortable just a bit "tatty" The food was first class and the local lager excellent, tried the cider but only half a pint as had been warned about it!! All in all a great experience and will stay again next time in the area on business!

What a wonderful place. Tucked right out of the way down a country lane, a pub come restaurant come hotel! Went there for an over night stay as it is close to Leeds castle. We stayed in one of the rooms a the bottom of the hill and very nice it was too. They are all given plant names not...

Been here before and always love it. Food is always excellent and love that it is in a cute country pub setting. Even thinking about it for Christmas! On the more expensive side so expect amazing quality restaurant standard rather than cheap cheerful pub grub.

We were in one of the rooms at the foot of the hill, which was no problem to us but if you have difficulty with walking make sure that you ask for a room near the top. The grasshopper ale and the Biddenden Cider were on top form as was the food and the friendly service. The breakfasts are wonderful.

I absolutely love it here, the food is amazing! I have never stayed in the hotel because I live so close but if it's anything like the restaurant, I imagine it's lovely. The restaurant is beautiful and cosy, it's especially great in the winter.

I visited the Black Horse on Sunday afternoon with my close family, this was a treat from my family for my birthday the previous Wednesday . Great atmosphere, great food and plenty of it, just my kind of meal. The restaurant was busy, a sure sign of a great experience. I would definitely return.
