We paid €100,- in advance because we booked already when we where in Holland. I wish we never did that. It was way to much money for what they give you. A bungalow with 4 seperated beds (we only needed 1 bed) with hard matresses and dirty sheets. There was only salty cold water. Later they brought us buckets with hot water, but we allready took a shower. Nobody told us. The french owner looks very friendly, but she doesn't speak any english. It was very hard to communicate with her. Afterwards she deens not to be that friendly. She doesn't want the drivers to stay there and she don't offer them lunch, breakfast or dinner. Normally they all do for the drivers! Without drivers no customers!! Especially for this place because it's not possible to get there without a 4x4 car. Our driver was too polite to tell us this, but we discovered later by other people. If I knew this I would never stay there. They ask so much money, way out of proportion and there is nothing for the driver?!! The food was ok, but we told her on arrival that we where sick: foodpoising. She didn't ask anything about dinner and gave us raw fish and shrimps. We couldn't eat this, but offcourse she charged us for the lunch and dinner (extra above the €100,- we allready paided). I never wrote a negative review before, but this is absolutely not worth that much money!

This is a very nice hotel in a beautiful remote part of Madagascar. The bungalows are on top of dune in a beautiful bay with a very nice beach. The bungalows are clean but basic. Unfortunately there was no running hot water. This was brought to your room in the evening in 2 buckets. When we were there we experienced the strangest management ever expercienced in a hotel. The 2 managers, a very young guy and very young girl, did not show any interest in us and it look liked if they worked there against there will. We were the only guests the 2 nights we stayed there but when we arrived no one came up to us to greet us. Only some staff to unload are bags. So we walked up to the beautiful terrace / restaurent. This is really stunning. Finally we met one of the managers and we were directed straigh to our room. The closest one to the restaurant. We were not asked if we perhaps wanted another room. All bungalows a bit further away from the restaurant had a much better location and view. The 2 managers were most of the time hanging on a couch in the restaurant looking very bored and were most of the time busy on their phone. If you asked for a drink you almost got the feeling if you bothered them. As we stayed only 2 night we tried not get annoyed on this. So overall a very nice hotel with a beautiful beach but i'm still wondering what it was with the managers. Were it children from the owner wo had to run the hotel for a few days or something?? . I really do not know but it was a weird experience.

We stopped here on our way from Morondava to Tulear. The place has a great aura and you see that it had once been well cared for. However, when we spent the night there, there were a number of little things that annoyed us. The water is salty, hot water is only delivered in buckets. You have light in the room but you cannot recharge anything. So you must plug your mobile phone in the power well at the restaurant. The bed sheets were stained and my pillow smelled so much I had to take it out of the room. The curtains were very dirty and we're home to a cockroach. On the plus sidestep the spacious rooms and the great beach right in front of the bungalows. The restaurant was a big disappointment. The three course meal consisted of cabbage with half a tomato, fried fish without any taste and homemade fries (ok) with green beans (not okay). Dessert was ok with creme de vanillia. The only open wine much too sweet. I've had way better food for a quarter of this price in a hotely (local eatery) on our way from Morondava.

We stayed with four in the family bungalow. They are not very spacious, but clean and all of them have a view on the sea. The bathroom was ok. Only cold water but they do bring hot water around sunset. The water from the tap seems like salt water which is really not nice for showering. We don't know if the water from the buckets is salty, we did not use them. The surrounding is amazing There is a small beach with some loungers right in front of the bungalows. We had dinner in the hotel, the food was ok but nothing special.

The resort is situated in a beautiful location, right on the rocks with a pretty little white sand beach and many bungalows. E water was perfect for swimming, if a little cool. The room was very good, spacious and pleasant and the beds comfortable. There was only cold water in the bathroom, no one offered hot water for washing. The water would have been the hardest I have ever encountered and I couldn't get a lather with the soap. I wondered if it was brackish and even after a shower still felt like I had salt water on me. The evening, included, meal was excellent with a cold entree and a whole reef fish between two of us. Dessert was fresh bananas. Breakfast was very basic. Pleasant place to stay for a night but I couldn't spend a week here, I spite of the view. No internet of wifi.
