Lovely friendly pub, very comfortable and dog friendly. The food is very good , delicious fresh and home made. We were made to feel very welcome as was our dog. A great place to stop for a meal. We stopped for sunday lunch and a lunch time meal while we were on holiday in the area.

This is a fantastic dog-friendly pub. The food was lovely and clearly fresh and home made. Delicious hand-cut chips and huge portions.Prices were reasonable as the quality of the food was superb.I would definitely come again.

Stopped for a quick lunch whilst in between visits, arrived 10 minutes before opening and was let in early, which was a really nice touch. The owner was super friendly and the food was really tasty. We only stopped for mains as we were in a rush. I got mussels and my partner got the tastiest crab souffle. I'd really...

Called in for lunch, was disappointed that wasn't open every day especially in September on a warm sunny day! Dogs made very welcome which was great as not allowed to leave them alone in the cottage. We thought the food was good but looked like the chips had been reheated therefore felt it was overpriced for the quality. Home made...

Lovely meal celebrating Mums birthday, extremely tasty food, lovely friendly staff. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Very clean with nice toilet facilities, always important especially with young children? Simple but well presented and home cooked children's food, just how we like it for the twins, too often the children's menu is just stuff from the freezer, so really...

From the outside, you could think was just a standard boozer. But when you venture inside its actually a fabulous Gastropub. My Hubby is a real foodie so it can be disappointing to dine out if the food is poor but the meals are extremely fresh & delicious. Slow cooked shoulder of Welsh lamb for me and lobster in garlic...

What might seem in passing like another old roadside Inn has a few pleasant surprises when you step inside from the car park. The interior has been refurbished with natural slate and hardwood to give an elegantly simple finish as a backdrop to some local artwork. The staff were attentive and friendly and our lunch arrived reasonably soon after ordering....

We stayed for one night prior to crossing from Holyhead to Dublin. Lovely bedroom en-suite. Immaculate. VERY comfy bed much needed after driving up from Bedfordshire. Delicious evening meal and great breakfast. An enjoyable and relaxing stay. Very close to Holyhead so an ideal overnight stay prior to getting the ferry. We frequently go to stay in Anglesey self catering...
