This hotel was in a great location on our way east and let us avoid traffic around Topeka. It was also in a great location in Holton-just a block from the town square. We walked around the town square-lots to see. We even saw a glass blowing demonstration at store on the square called More than Lemons. There is also...

It was awesome. Not spooky enough for me but will return with smiles. The rooms are old Victorian end it was a brothel at one point. Very fun nice people just a cool place to stay for a haunted old brothel

My disabled sister and I booked a room on the second floor as that's all they had available at the time. Due to the fact that there was no elevator, I couldn't imagine how I would get my 80 year old sis up all those stairs. God came through as always. A kind visitor that happened by when we went...

Lots of antiques ... room decor is early-1900s, as is the entire facility. Plenty of near-term and long-term maintenance required. Really wanted to rate only two stars, but can't necessarily classify it as "poor" ... just adequate. Breakfast room leaves a LOT to be desired. In three days, we never were able to get Internet access anywhere in the building....

First time at this inn and was so pleased with its warmth and relaxed atmosphere. Filled with history and antiques the décor itself keeps you entertained. The hosts were very friendly and the atmosphere is very homey. Loved it and will frequent again on my trips through Kansas.

Beautiful Victorian hotel with old world charms. Very reasonable rates. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Steam radiator heat kept us toasty warm with a nice ceiling fall to circulate the air. They kept the doors open on the rooms that where not occupied so you could see the Victorian decor of each room. Only draw back was the wi-if did...

My daughter got Married on 10-4-14. I have a large family and the hotel worked perfect for us. We had the majority of the 18 rooms. The hotel is very old. It has a lot of antiques in it and the rooms were all decorated differently. My family loved the building. The hotel was very clean and the staff very...

Another couple and us paid for a gift certificate through the previous owners. We were given rooms that had a bright halogen light outside and no curtains to cover it. Our friends had to go to the store to unclog their sink, after many requests for the hotel to do it. We asked repeatedly to move to different rooms but...

Stayed here one night on a road trip with the in-laws. It's a very small hotel but the rooms were decent size. Loved the Victorian look of the lobby and the lower level rooms. The upper rooms were all Indian/Western theme and wasn't as neat as the lower level. Loved being part of the hotel's history. I'd highly recommend a...

The wife and I stayed at the hotel over the weekend to celebrate our anniversary and truly enjoyed every minute of our time there. From the moment we walked in made us feel as if we were stepping back in time to yesteryear. Wonderfully appointed Victorian décor throughout with beautiful charming and clean guest rooms which made us feel as...
