What a wonderful stay here at the Bananas. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. You can swim at night and it is such a calming, relaxed place to chill out in the day. Olli the owner and all the staff were excellent and so welcoming and we loved the communal dinners. Lots of activities which the Bananas can easily arrange for you. Definitely...

Bananas was a nice getaway from the overridden beaches of Railay and Krabi. The bungalows are simple and the activities appear to we well organised. I was hoping that the area would be a little quieter however the bungalows are located along the driveway and quite close to the road so peace and quiet is limited. I was also situated...

We loved our stay at Bananas! As for the bad reviews, it is all about expectations. This isn't a five star resort; these are bamboo huts in the jungle! The hut stayed surprisingly cool, the fan did its job! The atmosphere of the place was lovely. We found Ollie to be great and caring. When we had ants because we...

I loved staying here. The bungalow was basic, but all the facilities were good. It was the perfect spot to chill out in a hammock watching the sun set. It isn't located in Krabi town, but I was looking for some quiet time (not boring though). The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. The staff was so sweet.

There were rats running all over the place- even in the kitchen. Wifi only in the communal area. Much nicer places to stay for the same amount. In the middle of nowhere- only way to travel is by taxi which works out super expensive.

My boyfriend and I originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 8! The staff are so welcoming and friendly, always there to help. We booked a kayaking tour which was amazing, definitely worth the trip. We stayed in a bamboo hut, simple but lovely. The food is delicious, lots of choice throughout the day and then in...

We loved this place so much! We thought the place was amazing. The food was excellent and not unreasonably priced when you consider quality and portion size and there were other options to eat out - we tried The Nature Cafe and The Terrace which were also good and all within walking distance. There are lots of options to get...

I loved Bananas. Olli is wonderful host and his staff are very welcoming and friendly. The bungalows are clean and comfortable (although quite close to each other so a little... intimate with neighbors). The area is truly beautiful. I love the popping sound the mangroves make and swimming just off the dock at night with bioluminescent plankton was unforgettable. I...

The staff was really great and helpful, they helped us with booking adventures. We stayed there for two days, we did the kayaking, boat trip to a beach called secret beach (not the nice beach, but it was ok) and walked up to a temple, recommend this. bring water for the hike, quit of a work out.

I absolutely love the energy of this place and would stay again in a heartbeat. Everyone I met was interesting, all meals were delicious, and the day tours to the islands and hot springs were worth every penny. I loved my simple, clean room and the comfortable public areas, including an open-air massage space by the mangroves and hammocks with...
