My son took me there when I was out in Brooke's. It was fantastic! I would recommend it to anyone who is in the area. It is a different restaurant you cook your own meat. Homemade soup which was amazing, salad, garlic bread , baked potato. Check it out. Number nine place to eat in Alberta.

We drove from Medicine Hat to Patrica Hotel to eat & it was so cool. What ever meat u choose u cook on a big grill. Visited with the owners very nice couple, great atmosphere. Never stayed in the hotel so can't rate the rooms.

Loved this place. I was humored when I ordered a steak from the Bartender/Hostess/Check In clerk. She brought me a raw piece of meat on a paper plate and told me how to cook it. They have corn also, this was the best part. Huge and fresh, it was the best dinner I had ever had. Loved the pool table... More

The tavern is such a great experience! Sunday's are all ages. Cook your own food! Excellent services and prices! Soup is amazing. Rated #1 burger in Alberta and definitely true! Hotel prices seem good for visiting Dinosaur Park and having a truly rural Alberta experience!

I stayed here for August long weekend. Yes, it's in a small town of 108 people. Yes its a little old and run down. BUT, it was a fantastic cozy experience. Joe and his wife run the place, closing the bar and (cook your own meat) bbq pit at night, and then opening up the little country cafe in the... More

Okay, it is not truly North-American of mine, but after I had decided to visit the Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, I chose the hotel that was closest and cheapest. That is, there are a number of hotels (from chains) in Brooks, Alberta, but they are more expensive than Patricia Hotel and it is 50km from Brooks to the park.... More
