Hard to recommend this place. The bed has a solid material canopy so the overhead fan is rendered useless - prepare for a hot nights sleep. No insect screens on the windows. No bath mat so the bathroom is awash is shower water. Shower head droops. Pros - the place is very picturesque Balinese.

Yuliati House is one of a kind. Agust (I am sure I spelled it wrong) is such an attentive host and speaks great English so it's very easy to communicate. Greeted me, helped me with my luggage and even when I had trouble with one of the outlets he made sure to bring me an extension cord. The room is...

Yuliati House both 1 & 2, are traveler friendly, and probably the most accommodating people you will ever meet. They also have a private villa with a private pool and 2-3 bedrooms you can rent out so easily. You get your own rice fields and temple view as soon as you wake up and step out of the balcony. When...

I booked the Yuliati villa which is part of this concern one month in advance. This was our third hotel, after we left the second hotel the taxi driver called Yuliati for instructions. Suddenly I was handed the phone because the owner wanted to speak with me. He told me that they are in the middle of renovation and won't...

Stayed 2 nights in early Aug 14. Basic accommodation. At 1st we were concerned about not having a/c but nights were cool and we really did not need a/c. Landscape is nice but rooms and attached bathroom could be a bit better. Bathroom had shower and hot water but hot water supply was irregular and be prepared for cold bath....

I chose this homestay after checking out the Lonely Planet guide and Trip Advisor. This is what happened: - sheets still dirty from previous guests - garbage dump next to my balcony, like, right under it (you could sometimes smell it over night) - rats living under my wardrobe (that s the reason why right now I'm spending the night...

Gorgeously maintained family compound, just outside of the bustling Ubud city center, which was turned into a bed and breakfast. The room was simple but lovely and comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained to create a tranquil hideaway. The family that ran the place were kind and helpful. The neighborhood around Yuliati House was what I would call true Ubud,...

First off, let me say that this place was very cheap! The family running it were extremely nice, polite and always available to help. Everything was great until the night. The inch-big gaps at the bottom of the doors let all sorts in, including the largest flying ants I have ever seen. It was a fight to get the mosquitos...

The owners of Yuliati have 3 homestays in Ubud. We stayed at a different Yuliati(@Jalan Sukma) but we have some experiences to share about the owners. First of all they are really kind people and you feel welcome. However, they have some troubles with running the homestays. They accepted too many guests so they didn't have free rooms. They offered...
