I will start out with the good. This place has a nice dock to fish off of and to park your boats. That was a big bonus, we could come back from the lake whenever we wanted to eat lunch or dinner. The downside is it wasn't very clean. The outside deck had dirt and cobwebs on the table. We...

I just wanted to express how wonder our experience was at this location. Our family had a family reunion with 52 of us staying in various locations around Lake Barkley. My family stayed in the lower cabins for 3 nights and it was fantastic, clean and exceeded our expectations. My sisters family stayed in cabin next to ours and had...

We rented the Lakeside Place II at Holiday Hills Resort for a week, and it was a beautiful, peaceful vacation with lots to do and great people. The place was easy to find, well marked with lots of signs to guide us from the highway. The cabin itself was "small" but very large compared to an average hotel room. A...

I've stayed Holiday Hills many times each summer, from 2009-2014. The hour and a half drive from Nashville to here is worth it when you get out on that water. I love Lake Barkley. We'd stay sometimes at the campsite in a fixed camper, with a porch over it. You can see the large, Holiday Hills sign from the road,...

This place is getting worse each year. Improvements are not made and the townhouses are falling apart. We have never been thanked for our business or anyone gone out of their way to approach us the mattresses are old and none of us get good sleep. Fishing is good though

Our family of 7 stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin #3 over the weekend. It was very clean. They furnish all utensils, pans, linens, towels, dishwashing liquid, paper towels and toilet paper. The view was very nice. They have a large pool. You can fish from the bank or the dock. They have boats but still not a lot of...

Just wanted a clean room for 2, had to take 3 bdrm.. Made credit card pmt. couple days before arrival of $400. At arrival, made remainder of pmt. $300 something, total of $700+ for 3 nights. Walking up to the door, we were so disappointed. Opening the door, the mat had not been swept, the room was old, dark paneling,...

VERY smoker friendly as the owner smokes, smoking included in the pool area, bingo and children's movie night. If you or your children have asthma/allergies to smoke this is not the place for you. Pool only has one table that has a canopy for shade, so unless you are swimming you get really hot. Hilly, narrow roads throughout the campground...

We have stayed here a few times. We've stayed in the campground side and in accomododations. This is one of the better campgrounds in the area. They have a swimming pool, boat rentals, beach, etc. The swimming pool does close way to early. It closes at 6 pm. If you're camping you can choose to get a cable hookup. It...

Holiday Hills Resort Eddyville, KY on Lake Barkley Overall: very family friendly with many full timers who’ve built decks, and houses around their trailers. Sites: large, gravel, with fire ring and attached grill. Picnic tables of wood, moveable, but rotten. Most well shaded with mature trees, many sycamores. Restrooms & Showers: older but clean facilities with rusting enamel sinks. Showers...
