I've been to lot of campgrounds around the country and this is by far one of the worst. Over crowded and to noisy. Nothing much to do hear. Poor fishing but the one good thing about this place is the lake for boating. Very nice scenery

So we camped here for a weekend paddleboarding trip on the lake. The lake itself is beautiful and well worth the trip for paddleboarding. With that said the campground was semi wooded, but we got stuck in camp site 39. No trees which I knew going in, but it's right next to the sewage dump station and there are no...

We visited this campground and the lake one afternoon while looking for camping place. It doesn't have many trees and does have a small playground. If you are in to boating this would be a nice place to camp as it is not far from the lake.

If you like to golf and boat , then this is the place for you. Other than that, only other things to do is hike .. Not much else to do nearby, unless you travel to Grayson to shop or eat. Be sure to bring a cooler and food, have plenty of gas, never seen a store or shop once...

Our family spent the July 4th holiday weekend here. The people were polite and friendly. The grounds are kept clean & the sites are really nice & spacious. There's play areas spread out throughout so little ones can be kept in site while playing. The only suggestion I can make is the entrance is not marked very well so we...

My husband and son stayed a weekend and had a relaxing time. Very quiet and everyone was friendly. We had to go back out to purchase a longer water hose for our site. We had to use 100 ft. One shower house was not working. Walked down a trail to check out the lake and couldn't believe the trash! No...

My fiance and I decided to stop in here and take a look around after visiting Carter Caves. It was raining the whole day, but we thought it'd still be a rather pretty day to view the area. We were poorly mistaken, the whole park was flooded and the water was brown and disgusting. However, parking was convenient because no...

Grayson lake campground was nice as usual . The only bad thing is some sights are harder to get in than others because of the deep ditches by some if the sights. But we made it and all was great. Sight was roomy and level. If they were full hook up it would be great.

We have stayed there a few times. Some sights are very hard to get in . Reserve America doesn't do a very good job at describing them. Restrooms and showers are very clean. All workers we met were very nice and helpful. No complaints here.

I stayed here in early August 2013. The campground was easy access to the Grayson City so if you ran out of supplies a short 10 minute drive would take you to the town. The sites were paved by were not level by any means, some of them had quite a downhill drop you better make sure you were chocked...
