We needed a place to stay near Stirling for a football match the following day, and this was the cheapest place we could find. We're two male friends, so we just needed a single bed each and an en-suite bathroom, with breakfast included, and this is what we got. When we were driving, we wondered where we had booked ourselves...

The host was lovely and really helpful. Bed was super comfortable. Facilities were clean and shower pressure was excellent and temperature superb. Room temperature was great and adjustable. Great range for breakfast. Only complaint was the wifi did not reach our room..

Having read some of the other reviews I was a bit wary about staying in this guest house. But it was affordable and that was my main consideration. I needn't have worried. Set in a quiet valley the guesthouse feels remote but is in fact only about 8 miles from Stirling. It's exceptionally quiet with only the sound of curlews...

Last minute booking with work and was pleasantly surprised. The two owners (mum and daughter) were lovely, really accommodating and a good giggle. Such an amazing location too. This is not a fully staffed hotel with all the luxuries it's a guest house so bear that in mind. Really enjoyed my stay and i'll be sure to visit again in...

I really didn't know what to expect when my husband said it was in the middle of nowhere, I thought he was exaggerating again but it was! Our only disappointment was when we arrived and thought that there was a bar, there isn't, we had looked forward to a drink in front of a blazing fire. We soon got over...

Booked for 5 nights, when driving out there I thought OMG! What have I done booking a place way out here, once we arrived and got settled I was fine. Sitting by the open fire all negativity was lost. Fantastic people, great location, thank you for a relaxing week.

After reading some of the negative reviews about the carronbridge we had been a little apprehensive when we arrived, that was soon put to rest as the hosts gave us a hearty welcome. The coal fire was roaring and boy was that welcome as it was very cold, we hadn't booked a meal, but was offered a hearty plate of...

This little guest house tucked away in the Carron Valley is good value for money. We came to the Duncarron Medieval Village Event and stayed here. Very nice people. Good breakfast and the room was ok. My bed could do with a new mattress as I felt the springs coming through, but it was bearable! The security light to show...

My sister and I arrived at this very remote little B&B in the Carron Valley in the early evening, greeted by a lovely lady who had lit a coal fire in the main lounge. She explained where to get food (8 miles to the nearest pup!) and which was the good takeaway nearby. We stayed for two nights. We settled...

We were looking for a base to use while cycling the Union canal, chanced upon the Carronbridge (Now a guest house, NOT a Hotel). Whilst this is a character property, the owners are refurbishing - I can only comment on OUR room. That (Double, en-suite) room was brand new and spotless. Whilst not perfect niggles were minor, and may well...
