My husband and I wanted to get away to horse country in Kentucky. We read many reviews, but after reading reviews for Essence of the Bluegrass we decided this was the place! We stayed in 2 rooms over 2 nights. Both were disappointing. The Keenland...More

Beautiful home on a lovely horse farm with breathtaking views of horses and rolling hills. Kasey and Angela made lovely breakfast in the morning. This is a dog-friendly hotel and the room was spacious and everything was very clean. Do plan to return sometime.

It's a glamorous house on a relatively small horse farm nestled among many horse farms. It's a quiet area and a great place to take a relaxing walk or run and see a lot of horses and beautiful farms. The women running the place are...More

Awesome place to stay- Comfortable, scenic, friendly, and convenient! Truly the essence of the area! Rolling hills and fences, and horses right in the back yard. Very quiet place and a little bit of luxury!

Hi! I have sent an email and left a message on voicemail for Essence (which the greeting was automated, not what I'd expect from a business), and I haven't heard back. Does anyone have another way to book? Can a room accommodate 3 people (roll away)? My 75 yo Mom, 15 yo daughter, and I want to stay here for two nights in late March!! Panicking because time is running out!
