Located on a beautiful street in Old Louisville, this B&B is possibly our best find in years! From our initial telephone contact with the friendly and cordial owner, our three-day stay at this amazing venerable old home was fantastic. The beautiful, historic old house has been beautifully and lovingly restored and furnished with museum-quality furniture and accessories, yet it still... More

Truly a must see mansion. Architecture and furnishings beautiful, a formal atmosphere. Rooms beautiful, worth the trip just to see the majesty of an era gone by. Host can seem aloof, staff member Jason fantastic and a pleasure to meet. Would prefer off street parking, but no options so had to find spot in a busy street.

My husband surprised me with a night's stay at this beautiful B&B mansion. We love it's history. We felt very welcome while staying and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. I'm looking forward to staying here again.

This a such a beautiful home! Walking into this house is like walking into a museum. The hostess was so warm and easy to talk to. We had a wonderful evening sitting on the big front porch and visiting. Breakfast was very nice. Didn't know what we were getting into when booking, but now we know that we want to... More

If you like a charming, filled-with-antiques (nice antiques), unique B&B in a lovely location, then look no further. This place is great! When you walk inside you are immediately surrounded by lots of lovely objects - beautiful old furniture, paintings, beautiful little things. As another reviewer wrote, you do feel like you are at the Vanderbilts. It is so special... More

Beautiful mansion, like a museum with amazing antique furniture. Rudy was pleasant and provided a yummy southern breakfast. We stayed in the Little Colonel, nice BIG clean room and bathroom. I would advise if visiting in the summer that the rooms on the third floor can get a little warm. We had an A/C window unit near our bed which... More

Walking in the front door, I had to pinch myself wondering if I had mistakenly entered a house of royalty. But Rudy, the proprietor welcomed my companion and myself like we were old friends. The splendor of the mansion cannot be overstated. Every room is a treasure trove of antiques, artwork, and incredible thought for design and coordination. Rudy told us we... More

East Room. Very class Victorian with the perfect accessories. We did not feel like we were sleeping in a field of poppies or doll house. Very comfortable, quiet, private and beautifully appointed room and bathroom. Host Rudy and Jason, were inviting and comfortably charming. Great breakfast with all the splendor of days gone by. Looking forward to returning in the... More

In the midst of Historic Louisville is a lovingly restored mansion which has been changed into a beautiful B&B. The main floor has been kept as it was. The sitting rooms are inviting, and the dining room has silver and crystal everywhere. Rudy, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He recommended restaurants and activities which we thoroughly enjoyed. The... More

We spent two nights at The Samuel Culbertson Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn in the old historic area of Louisville. Our hosts Rudy and Jason were so friendly and helpful in all respects. The house is filled with beautiful antiques collected over the years. You could almost feel like you were entering the Victorian era. An elegant home made breakfast... More
