Stayed 3 nights in the General Lawton Room. Traveling with husband and 2 teenage daughters, this suite had 2 beds and lots of room. The house has lots of neat things, located in beautiful neighborhood, walking distance to some restaurants and attractions. Rudy - Inn Keeper, and Jason - helper, are great hosts. Enjoyed our stay and definitely will go...

We stayed at the Samuel Culbertson Mansion during the first part of October and over the St. James Court Art Show. We were really fortunate to even get a room in the house! It's a perfect location for the show, since the show begins right outside the front door. The home itself is just so amazing! It's beautifully designed and...

My first trip to Louisville was made extra special by staying at the Culbertson Mansion. I have stayed at many B&Bs all over the East, Southeast, and New England. The Culbertson was by far the nicest. The decor, artwork, and fixtures take you back to the Victorian era. Elegance is what describes it most. Breakfast was delicious! Must try the...

We spent a full weekend at the mansion, and loved every minute! Rudy and Jason were wonderful hosts - attending to every need and making us feel like royalty. But then, it's not hard to feel like a queen in such a marvelous home with such rich history! What a joy. We will certainly be back!

Jason and Rudy are the most welcoming hosts and such nice, interesting people. The home that Rudy has built is phenomenal, an antique store/museum all in one magnificent Victorian home. (ask to see the basement!) The location is in the middle of Old Louisville with some beautiful homes. We took a walking tour one morning and found Belgravia court and...

The B&B is well kept and very representative of the period - almost to the point of having too many crowded collections. I am accustomed to a little more interaction from the host but was sadly left wanting in this case. The room was large and comfortable, meeting our needs..

Samuel Culbertson Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful place. The owner is great. We had a wonderful stay, the only problem we encountered was the air conditioning. We stayed on the third floor and it was hot the whole night and never cooled down.

Beautiful Mansion with so much history. We felt like royalty staying in the President's Room which was once the master bedroom. Three floors of exquisite antiques, were ours to enjoy. Every room had a uniquely styled fireplace. Rudy, the owner, and Jason, his assistant, were always available to answer our questions about the history of the home and are very...

This is the place to stay if you're interested in a little history and a lot of character. The building is impressive, and the staff is kind and accommodating. If you get a chance, I highly encourage a chat with the proprietor, Rudy. He knows everything there is to know about the city and the neighborhood. If you're looking for...
