We recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Louisville. It is located on a large wooded lot conveniently 15 minutes east of Louisville. Our room had everything we needed including robes. The breakfasts were excellent with a different presentation each day. The B&B is early American. There were snacks and drinks available. Devona's restaurant recommendations for 3 dinners were all outstanding....

My sisters and I chose 1840 Tucker House for our mother's 80th surprise birthday party after touring the house and meeting the lovely and warm innkeepers, Devona and Steve Porter, and couldn't have been more pleased. They took care of our every need and both the food and accommodations were perfect. We enjoyed catered appetizers and homemade cakes prepared and...

Five stars just doesn't do this cozy, romantic inn the justice it deserves. I selected a night at this inn (after extensive research) as a Christmas present for me and my ladyfriend. I thought we would take a night in Louisville, have dinner, and stay at a comfortable bed and breakfast. The Tucker House is a wonder. It's a beautiful,...

This little gem is tucked away just outside of Louisville. Short trip (15 minutes, no traffic) into town on any givien day and centrally located to other attractions. The landscaping is beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating. We stayed in the President's room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious. The breakfasts are out of this world....

We were fortunate to stay at Tucker House during Derby week and the hospitality of the owners was amazing! The house is beautiful and inviting, with plenty of space for privacy. We enjoyed many wonderful homemade southern meals at Tucker House, not to mention a few mint julips and bourbon! We went with another couple but also made friends with...

We were doing the Bourbon trail and wanted a quite and nice place to R&R. This was the place! Unique country house with fantastic breakfasts. Great husband and wife host that know the area and catered to our needs. Comfortable restored rooms and a pool with a recreational area.

Our daughter, knowing how much we enjoy historical B&B's, made this our birthday gift--and what a gift! The home is absolutely beautiful and is creatively decorated with many wonderful antiques. Our room was perfect and the bed was one of the most comfortable that we have experienced at any B&B. Our breakfast included tasty pancakes, bacon and eggs as well...

A beautiful facility, very well-kept grounds ... we loved the semi-private deck our room had (Traveler's Room) overlooking the pool. Perfect place for a glass of wine at the end of the evening. Perfect hosts served a lavish three-course breakfast ... possibly one of the best breakfasts we've ever had.

Beautiful home and gracious host and hostess. Another marvelous breakfast and the cook out did herself. We received recommends for restaurants and sights to see. The restaurant was great. The recommended places to visit were just what we were looking to see. Will visit Tucker House in the future if in the area.
