Historic hotel in the heart of Louisville. Small but nice rooms and plenty of amenities. Absolutely excellent customer service other than our first encounter at the front desk. Subsequent staff interactions were excellent in every way!

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

There is quite a bit of history related to this hotel, from Al Capone's visits to those of quite a few president's, the latest being George Bush. It is a Grand Old Hotel that has been updated over the years, and still maintains its original elegance. The rooms are decorated quite well and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel...

Thank you for your kind words! We take great pride in our reputation and your statement of being a great Historical Hotel in Louisville enhance our effort to continue to provide great service. The Grand Ballroom has been long known as a great wedding destination. We celebrate that F. Scott Fitzgerald incorporated the Seelbach into The Great Gatsby, as the...

Nestled on the ground floor of the tastefully appointed Seelbach Hilton is the famous Seelbach Bar. After visiting, it was crystal clear that they stopped trying to live up to their reputation. The atmosphere was divey. The service was slow and the sparkling wine in the famous Seelbach Cocktail was flat. I heard the building is up for sale. Hopefully...

I booked with the Seelbach for 2 nights after I found out the Brown was sold out for my dates. Overall, the stay was good. The hotel is beautiful and historic, especially the lobby. My room was on the Concierge Level (924 to be exact) and was HUGE. Complete with a separate living room and large bedroom area, this room...

We are honored that you selected the Seelbach after the other Hotel was sold out! We certainly love to showcase our history and we take pride in providing a great location to explore our great city, but we take the greatest pride in our "excellent" staff providing a "warm and welcoming" atmosphere. I apologize for your room not being service....

My son and I needed to find a hotel in downtown Louisville and since I am a Hilton Diamond member I looked online and found the Hilton in downtown Louisville. This hotel is beautiful and it sits in a great location. The room was great and the staff was excellent. We visited the executive lounge on the 7th floor, it...

Americans seem to be obsessed with air conditioning. We have been plagued with it everywhere we have been. In most of the hotels we have stayed in we have been able to turn it off, but not at the Seelbach. Even though I set the controls to off it drones on and on all night so I had no sleep....

I'm not sure how people can have positive comments about this place? Front desk service horrible. There were two front desk staff each helping a guest so I stood in the line for Hilton Honors members, as I am a member. Unfortunately for me the non-HH guest got done first and by that time another guest got in line. Instead...

Room service and breakfast wait staff are disinterested in service. Room service food could not be eaten. Chicken Tortilla's were filled with only chicken skin and chicken fat. No chicken meat! Took the breakfast staff 1/2 hour to bring coffee then another 1/2 hour to bring the check which was brought over by a manager. Waitress forgot the order and...

Lovely property, nicely situated by an entertainment district; but I did have some issues with my stay. I had a nice room, it was quiet and nicely appointed. There was lovely moulding and two large bright windows. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but had nice fixtures. I was on the concierge floor, which served canapes and had...

My wife and I stayed at the Seelbach for a cocktail reception honoring one f our dear friend's retirement. The staff were great and the room was perfect. The Seelbach staff did a great job with the reception - food and drink were wonderful. I highly recommend the historical Seelbach Hotel in Louisville.
